Think you are looking into things a bit too much

We were well in the game, lost a man, then it was going to be a very hard slog to get anything out of the game

If we had lost 3-0 with 11 men in the pitch, I’d wholeheartedly agree with you……however, we lost a man, they got a penalty due to Barasic making a block with his hands, and this was a team that put 4 past Liverpool last week

The result was disappointing, but 8m not gonna judge the team on a result that only came about due to a massive game changing moment that didn’t go our way.

Sands is now out for the Liverpool game, so one of our new signings has to step up and fill that gap…..our performance was far far better in yesterdays game also

If we are poor on Saturday, questions should be asked

If we get annihilated in the Liverpool game, and show a similar performance to Celtic/Ajax then yes, questions don’t just need asked, they need answered

As for domestically….we’ve lost an old firm, and drawn away at Easter Road

Celtic are in form, playing well, and have started strongly…..but every team has dips in form, it will happen to them too, the hectic European schedule might start to tell on them, we shall wait and see.

For all the plaudits Celtic are getting for their performances in Europe….needs to be remembered….they’ve only got 1 point to show for all that

why did morelos start btw?

colak has been scoring, poor decision i think.

Where do you see Rangers picking up points in your Group?

For us I’d imagine we as a support will think we have a chance against Leipzig home and away and also the home game v Shakhtar.

Not for a second suggesting any of that will be easy but it seems a more doable task that than which faces Rangers. At this point in time Rangers look as likely to end up with no points at all which would be a huge drop from their last European forays.

Any more slip ups in the league and your managers head is on the block. And if you pay him off, what cost and who is the next one?

Hanging onto a hope that 2 games will perhaps see us slip up is really looking for snookers. And this early in the league too???

I think there’s more trouble brewing down Ibrox way

I saw improvements last night, and losing to Napoli with their 11 men to our ten, I'm not so bothered about.
It's our squad, form, backing from board etc...these factors starting to get to me. Yes, I am being a bit negative right now, and hope things change soon. If they do I'll be the first to come on here and apologise

Disagree

Think Morelos had a big part to play in giving us an out ball and getting up the park last night….we weren’t really getting that from Colak in either the Ajax or the Celtic game, ball wasn’t sticking when it was played up to him, meant we struggled to get out

Bit more game time and higher fineness level, Morelos should add goals

posted on 15/9/22

more chance of morelos eating the ball than scoring with it right now.

Again last night, Morelos could and should have been sent off for a second bookable offence. The man is a liability and an insult to your club and your fans.

He has problems in that respect, we all know that…..but he isn’t our highest scorer in Europe of all time for nothing, and he is still on our books, so where’s the sense in not using him at all, at a stage when we are struggling to even score in Europe let alone get a result?

I think the fact Celtic are in form has a lot to do with that mate.

They havent had a major come down domestically in a very long time…..it will happen.

I mean they are getting lauded for doing so well against Madrid…they lost 3-0 at home…and after last nights game….this sparkling team is only 1 point better off than “in major crisis” Rangers

And as said….domestically, a draw at Easter Road and a loss in the old firm is the only difference between the sides….it’s hardly disastrous

The manner of the defeats to Celtic and Ajax was the alarming thing….that was put right to an extent last night…..here’s hoping that was us hitting rock bott9m and it’s only one way from here on in…whereas for Celtic, given where they are right now and have been for a sizeable length of time, a draw or something is domestically is long overdue

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I’d suggest the sense is more in demonstrating that he can’t behave like that and treat his club and his manager with such disrespect and still when it really matters is looked upon as some potential saviour.

He’s as likely to be booked or sent off as he is to score these days and that’s some accomplishment for a striker.

=============

we have played our best team in the group and taken a point away from home in another.

rangers have yet to play the best team in their group and have lost 7 goals in two games, returning nothing.

it's easy to say "1 point in 2 gams" but context is everything.

It’s 1 point

Had you taken your chances yesterday, against a team that lost most of its best players and can’t even play their home games at home….you’d have 3 points

Can hit me with the “they put 4 past Leipzig” bit if you want…..Ukrainian team, back on the big stage in the Champions League for the first time since the war started this year, and want to prove a point and show to the world they are still capable…you ask me, that’s what their 4-1 win last week was

How’s that context?

posted on 15/9/22

ridiculous as ever.

our next 3 matches:

Leipzig away
Leipzig home
donetsk at home.

for me that potentially 6 points from those games.

Rangers:

Liverpool away
Liverpool home
Napoli away

how many points you getting from that?

posted on 15/9/22

That Shakhtar win in Leipzig is great for us in terms of the group.

Least there's no Europa run to worry about with Rangers this season because they are finishing bottom.

What on earth would you apologise for.

You're stating a perfectly reasonable opinion based on what you are seeing on and off the park.

If things change for some unexpected reason then your view may change. That's how it works.

I'm actually sick of people criticising people for giving opinion on here. OK..you get mentalist opinions but that's not what you're doing.

I've had it for expressing my thoughts that Celtic will win the league by a good margin this year. At the moment, it looks like I might be right but things can change and if Rangers improve I'll change my opinion. I won't be apologising for it.

I also thought Celtic would win last night. Was just my opinion and it was pretty close.

Then you get guys coming on and saying 'what happened to your prediction'

Well it was just a prediction.

Who knows how many points we will get, I wouldn’t like to say or presume….if we improve our performance levels as we didn’t against Napoli before the red car, we could pick up points in those games, and anything we could take of Liverpool should be seen as a bonus really

Very presumptuous of you to think you could get 6 points from your next three games, presumably your home games being the ones you are hoping to pick up points in.

Celtic have only won 2 of their last 6 home games at Europa League group stage level

At Champions League group level….1 point from your last 6 home games
