None of what has been implemented in the past week was in their 2019 manifesto though, so did the public really vote for it?
Can the public force an election?
Other than everyone petitioning their local MP to force a no confidence vote, or King Charles deciding to oust the Government (which won't happen) I can't see how change can be forced?
That's democracy for you.
I voted Tory because the PM (in my opinion) was decent at the time, the current Tory government is a calamity and a joke. All the good politicians are not involved and we just have plonkers now.
I would actually vote Labour now, but Zarah Sultana should be leader of the Labour Party, very good MP.

Predictably Tory Boy has turned up with a stupid comment.
There is absolutely nothing democratic about what is going on right now. 99.2 per cent of the population did not vote for the current PM, Chancellor or their current policies.

Protests can force a Government to collapse and go to the country. Happened plenty of times in the past, both here and abroad.
If Democracy ain't working properly, then change can be forced through a variety of measures.
Even Putin would not be safe if the Russians rebelled, as they famously did in the past.

The likes of Sandy are stuck in their ways, he will vote Liebour no matter what, even in the face of complete incompetence and the likes of Blair and Brown bankrupting the country.
Their is zero guarantee the Liebour Party will do a better job than the Tories, and with their track record they could in fact do a lot worse.
Have you seen how grammatically poor that Angela Raynor is, it makes me wonder how she made it to become an MP, do we really want people like that running the country.

Considering the grammar at work here (two questions with no question marks, plus a couple of comma splices), this is pretty ironic. Oh, and it’s ‘Rayner’.

There's a school of thought the fiscal policies are by design rather than incompetence.

It's hardly a secret that this government favours the rich as they tend to vote Tory.
I prefer a politics free board. Would go elswhere for political discussions. Thats just me and my opinion.
It's an interesting question. At what point should democracy give way to common sense?
Just because a party bull shiiiited their way into power does that mean they automatically get free reign to destroy a country to make their already rich mates a little richer (while everyone else suffers).
There should really be some sort of check and balance system to stop such things happening
If there's one thing to me that's more important than any other in determining a politicians suitability to be part of the leadership of this country - it's their use of grammar.

Yes that's why the UK is performing the worst of the comparable nations and it's the UK in particular that just set fire to it's economy in order to give the wealthiest a bit more money
Rumours of a vote of no confidence happening already
