Are you mental? It was a booking all day long. The only possible reason he might have escaped a card was how early in the game it was but it deserved a yellow.

True, though I'm generally a fan of it. You don't forget how to tackle from one game to the next, so shouldn't get away from it. Also, why set a tone for constant fouls just because it's a derby? I never understand that, it's weak refereeing which is bizarrely often praised.

Though more lenient reffing would help us here
