And Kane is definitely not ‘just above average’ as a playmaker, his passing is superb

Haaland is just way more physical and bullies defenders. Lane uses his size well to win free kicks, and loves scoring, but haaland just plays like a dif beast.

17 in 10. At least it ditracts from the fact Citys owners are slowly conquering the world with feeder clubs, meaning they won't even need Pep.

Red Bull have the best network currently but the number of clubs city own now means it won't be low until they surpass them. Kinda depressing

----------------------------------------------------------------------Well that's you're opinion with regards to play making but do you not agree he's worth more to us for his clinical ability in front of goal?

Kane doesn't have Haaland's acceleration or 100% killer instinct. Yes he would be scoring more for City than Spurs but not at twice the rate that he is now. He is a great player for Spurs but a defensive manager isn't going to help him. He wouldn't be close to the Golden Boot in any case this season.

Regarding the OP, it’s to do with the way the teams are set up. Since Poch left, Kane has played under 3 counter attacking managers in Jose, Nuno and Conte. He also plays under a negative coach in Safegate for England.

Kane isn’t gonna be a player that does all the running on the break in counter attacks, but he has the ability to play make for the likes of Son, Bergwijn, Moura, Kulu and Richarlison, which is what he’s been doing.

He’s still scoring (7 in 9 PL this season), and rest assured if he was in that City team he’d be playing higher up the pitch all game. Doesn’t mean he’d been doing Haaland numbers, but he’d still be racking them up just as any top class striker would in a team that creates so many chances (Haalands touch count tells you all you need to know about his role within that team) which is why Pep wanted him last season--------------------------------------------
Son, Bergwijn, Moura, Kulu surely you have that the wrong way round? He shouldn't be the player that's deep to play them round the corner because he's not on the end of the chances which those players then create!!

These are players that play or have played either side of him in a front 3 and that run past him when he/we are deep. Not so much Kulu but certainly the others, plus Son.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I get that it's fine when we are countering high up the pitch it's not really what I'm talking about it's more when the other team has numbers behind the ball and he picks it up near the halfway line then plays it wide I then don't see him bust a gut to get back into the centre to score a goal he'll go to support the player near the edge of the area to try and put the cross in instead of getting in the middle to receive the ball from a cross because the playmaker tag has gone to his head I'm not saying he would get haaland numbers as haaland in a city team but he just needs to remember what his job is.

OP

Kane has like 200 Prem goals. Haaland has barely 20. I don't think he needs to take lectures of the likes of you on how to score goals.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why do you persist in this 'only PL goals count ' nonsense Sandy? The simple facts are that Haaland is scoring twice as many goals as Kane, albeit in a better team admittedly. However he has done it in every league he has played in, and there is every indication that he could get 50 goals or more total in every competition this season, depending on whether Pep plays him in the cups, which, even you will have to admit is insanely impressive. Nobody is saying that Kane is bad, it is just that Haaland is on another level to every striker on the planet.

Struggling to think of another striker that’s looked this devastating at a similar age, R9 maybe?
