Couldn’t be bothered to read all the thread but anyone predicting anything other than a City victory was doing so from their heart not their head.
I had you down to win 3-1. It was the easiest win prediction I will have all season.

Easy win for you guys, but to say I was not disappointed with the little we troubled your backline I would be lying. Let's be clear here you did not work that hard to get the ball yesterday first half, our players lost it for fun. But when you get possession, the quality showed. Light years ahead of us
Only a dimwitted simpleton would have tipped United to win yesterday
City are obviously way ahead of us but a lot of it’s mental with United. Seems we were beaten before the kick-off yesterday. Lesser teams than us are capable of making it harder for City.

A tad thin-skinned to be a so called high flying captain of industry…
I keep a PL spreadsheet for all the results. My WASP, (win and score predictor) gave a prediction of 4 -1 to City so 6 - 3 was along the right lines on goal difference. Man Utd have a lot of improvement to do in defence.
The headlines call it a "thrashing" but City won by 3 goals. 3 - 0 would be considered a normal win and 9 - 6 would be "an amazing football spectacular".
I expect Manchester City will have bigger wins this season, Liverpool too.
I hope for a top four place for United at the end of the season and then, as so often in recent years, kick on next year. Recurring theme here...

I don’t know… 3-0 in a derby is pretty comprehensive, even emphatic. And of course it was the nature of the win, not just the score - City were miles better. Though I agree that even 6-2 felt like we’d avoided a true humiliation and at 6-3 I almost felt like we’d got a result
I thought the Utd line up was bonkers. 4 attackers, none of which known for their off-the-ball efforts, away at City, leaving 2 CMs, one a renowned headless chicken and the other not a DM, to guard the less than reliable Varane & Martinez combo.
So Naive from ETH !

Bit harsh.
The "Local Derby" side of things only really matters to the diehard supporters. It's a game against another team. Bragging rights? Bragging is rude and is for nonties who have nothing else. I accept that United lost to a better team. One day please, one day we'll get back up there!

Ronaldo starting would have resolved all that
People forgetting to mention how much Pep has spent on his defence, the same defence that conceded 3 goals at home. If we did that ETH would be thrown from the top of the Strangeways tower. Unreal how biased everyone is the City and Haaland, who I maintain is overrated. It's easy for any average striker to score goal after goal in this City team. Kane is still a far superior player.

We had plenty of them on here. A fair few amount to be honest.
I think ETH thought he would blow Man City away.đ
Having said it isn’t ETH fault if our players can’t make simple passes, track one runner into the box and concede such easy goals despite having so many players back. Our team seems to have a habit of ball watching rather than tracking opposition players. Man City punished that to perfection. That Foden goal in the 2nd half was a comedy goal to concede. Sort of reminded me of Nani against Arsenal in 8-2 game. Seemed way too easy to score a goal.
Well Man Utd did have 7 shots on target to Man City 3 2nd half so if only Man Utd played like that all game we could have won. Brentford at least kept there 4 goal lead unlike Man City lol.
