Klopp vs Arsenal

Your quick passing through midfield worries me the most but if we can play with the aggression that we're used to, then I'm comfortable with a draw.

You guys are favourites though

That's some ugly reading. The fact that we had to score 3 goals to get draws in 2 of those games

I'd definitely take a draw as well, despite their poor start, they have still scored plenty. Even if we are favourites, Jota always scores against us so we will need at least 2 to win this one. Probably 3 in all likelihood.

I’d take draw tbf not as confident as previous season’s , should be a good game though

Liverpool's season needs a kick start

Step up Arsenal to help out as usual I fear

Arsenals best chance since klopp took over id say..however....if it starts to click for us we can knock 3 or 4 goals in pretty quick

It might send the wrong message but I wouldn't mind seeing Tomiyasu play left back for this game. I can't see us changing the XI that started against Spurs though so 8 or 9 changes tomorrow to keep as many as possible fresh for Liverpool.

Dropping Zinchenko but not for Tierney??? Seems madness, basically playing 4 CBs

Think you'll beat us comfortably tbh

Arsenal are favourites for the first time in a while in this fixture. Everything which is wrong about us is what Arsenal have been good at this season. It is like we have switched bodies.

Arsenal will overload Jesus and Martinelli onto Trent and this is what I worry about. If Konate was match fit I would feel better but he isn't. Klopp is going to need a plan for this.

In midfield we should, in theory at least, overwhelm them. Just depends on if our defence can cope with their forward movement.

I can't see it happening for multiple reasons, if we have both our left backs fit then it will be one or the other. It's just some funky thinking on how to negate the threat of Salah. However if we can boss the game for decent spells then that will help too and Zinchenko gives us that.

It's not something I'd want to see regularly, but it's an option I wouldn't mind seeing against the very best. Although unless both our left backs were injured then I can't imagine we ever will see it.

This really depends on what tactics we use. If it's what we've been trying this season with Diaz & Salah staying wide and only coming infield after isolating your fullbacks with 1v1 or Trent being tasked with a 'free' role then trust me, you got nothing to worry about.

Firmino is scoring and he loves a goal against Arsenal.

A draw would be my bet but a win either way would be no surprise.

That’s not really a fair reflection.

1) We dominated a lot of those games and they did smash n grabs

2) We beat them to win the Shield at Wembley. Allison in tears.

3) We beat them to shatter their dreams of a 100-pt season. Van Dijk in tears.

And probably more reasons.

Liverpool wont have Mane to assault our players and get away with it

Every performance of ours has been good. Liverpool have been gash on the whole.

We should be going into this thinking we can beat them

Jota and Firminho love goals against us. Would take a draw all day.

Pool are not spurs that they will sit back. They will cause us loads of problems

I fear Liverpool more than I fear Spurs.

At the moment you dont know which Liverpool going to turn up.

But as Bats said we are in a good form currently and Liverpool struggle. The best time to turn things around.

Think he will have a tough time managing Martinelli and Jesus. Regardless of his abilities with the ball, he's still a liability defensively.

How that impacts the result remains to be seen but he's not going to have the freedom to pop up in midfield to boss this game as Ramsdale will happily ping 50/60 yard passes out to that flank.

We should be favourites, and I'm certainly more confident than usual. But I also know that Liverpool will surely come good at some point, and it would be typical that this game would be what kickstarts their season!

If Konate plays it's all about winning those headers and the second balls. That's the way we have dominated you in the last six years. I expect Klopp to change our tactical shape to combat your danger from the wide areas.
