Of course they would be different, he wouldn’t have de Bruyne, foden or Bernardo feeding him every five minutes
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How do you explain the 9 goals for Norway?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So are you saying City don’t create more chances than most other PL teams?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No. I saying exactly what it says on the tin: how do you explain the 9 goals for Norway?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well I’d explain it like this, if he was Swedish, he’d probably have 12 goals for them
----------------------------------------------------------------------
De Bruyne, Foden, and Bernardo were supplying plenty last season too: why werent the likes of Sterling or Jesus doing the same thing?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What are you talking about? No one is denying Haaland is an incredible goalscorer. The question is simply whether he would have less goals if he played for any other team in the league. The answer is most probably yes.
To use your example, if the whole of the City starting 11 also happened to be Norwegian, he would probably have more than 9 goals for Norway. Am I wrong?

I seen Elvis last night. You watched it?? Not great for me… too fast paced and jumpy in terms of the direction.
I had hoped that he'd come into the City side and disrupt their way of playing. What he's doing IMO though is spreading fear throughout the opposition defence giving the players behind him more space to play in.
To get the better of this City team I think you'll need to be brave, compact and get the passing right when an opportunity presents itself. I do think they can be got at but they just seem to have a lot of goals in them now that it'd be difficult to outscore them.

You make a good point here and one I agree with: he disrupts their play.
Now clearly at the minute he’s putting it in the net, but when he goes on a bad run of form people will see how much he de-tracts from their buildup. Most of the time on the pitch he’s invisible but then he scores a tap in. Wait until he encounters a barren spell, people will slaughter him and City will drop points.

But it does make sense. Haaland and RVN are similar, though I would probably say RVN had better technical quality, but by and large they’re both box players who score from inside the box.
To suggest Haaland is the best in the league/Europe/world is simply stupid.

City have had just about the easiest fixture list imaginable so far. Has he actually scored any away goals against a decent side yet? Most of his goals have come at home against cannon fodder. Let`s wait until the goes to Anfield, WHL, Old Trafford, Stamford Bridge etc before bigging up to much.

I doubt they fear anyone from the top 6 and nor should they. They’re miles ahead of them all (this season) so far bar an Arsenal side who probably would give them a good game.

He will probably score against all those teams too in fairness.
However for 900k a week you'd expect him to.
About the same as Ronaldo and Sancho then?

If he had joined a different team?
———-
Of course they facking would, he’s playing in one of the most expensively assembled team of all time, that dominate possession and create chance after chance. He barely touched the ball most games and half his goal are tap in’s, the kind of chances Sterling used to spunk over and again. Don’t get me wrong he’s a goal machine with great movement and strength in the box, but he wouldn’t do the same sort of numbers in say a Jose Mourinho team.

And thanks to global warming it won't be cold or wet either!
You'd imagine the likes of prime Ronaldo, Messi, Lewa would, in this City side, get a score a lot of chances.
But that really is the sort of level he is playing at. He fits City like a glove, in the same way Messi did at Barca.
It's like having Ruuds instinct for a goal, with RVPs ability to make difficult chances look easy, with Rooneys tenacity, Cantona's charisma and Vidics physical presence. It's actually quite ridiculous.

City’s next 6 home games in the league
Saints
Everton
Fulham
Wolves
Brighton
Brentford
(Mixed up the order)
He can fill his boots on those

When do City get to play some difficult away games? Have they played any of last season`s top six away from home yet?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I doubt they fear anyone from the top 6 and nor should they. They’re miles ahead of them all (this season) so far bar an Arsenal side who probably would give them a good game.

He will probably score against all those teams too in fairness.
However for 900k a week you'd expect him to.

About the same as Ronaldo and Sancho then?
Bargain!
That figures gone up a third in two weeks, he’s going to be the first billionaire footballer by Christmas at this rate

I just want them to lose a game at some point.
That's the state of the world at the moment

You'd imagine the likes of prime Ronaldo, Messi, Lewa would, in this City side, get a score a lot of chances.
But that really is the sort of level he is playing at. He fits City like a glove, in the same way Messi did at Barca.
It's like having Ruuds instinct for a goal, with RVPs ability to make difficult chances look easy, with Rooneys tenacity, Cantona's charisma and Vidics physical presence. It's actually quite ridiculous.
