There's not much magic in any of the cups, trophies, or plates these days. One of those nights tonight, when you wouldn't mind a power blackout to save costs and energy.
Wake me up later. I'm off to conserve energy in a hammock.
I mentioned last week that Evatt was the second "Tinkerman" and this clip proves it. I think that he is rather pleased with his tinkering.
“We will keep tinkering and chopping and changing, fundamentally believing in ourselves and working hard on our beliefs and working harder on the training pitch to put things right, but it is not like we’re not getting there or not creating anything. We are, but it is just not going in for us at the moment.”
As for tonight's game, it isn't a given that we will win with four Leeds United first-string player worth a total of 13.45 million pounds set to play.
On the other hand, we will have Izzy and Sheehan back. I just hope that both of them are fit enough and are in form. The rest of the team? Well, it's anyone's guess who will be playing. If he makes another ten changes, I will expect us to go out of the competition.
I would play, as I said yesterday, a starting line-up of Klaesson, Drameh, Mullen, Moore, Firpo, Gyabi, Summerville, Greenwood, Gnonto, Perkins and Gelhardt. Options from the bench might include Christy, Spencer, Sutcliffe, Allen, Miller, McGurk and Joseph. More than enough to win this game.
Unfortunately, as it clashes with the Brighton/Palace and Palace/Wolves games, yet another game they will not be able to show live. Why don't they move these games to the afternoon, has nobody told the idiots who organise these matches that football teams are likely to be negatively impacted upon by the cost of living crisis as wel as households.

Then again it does appear to be avalaible live.
Sutcliffe wont be playing with a snapped ACL/PCL combination. Can write him off until 2024
We do need to get Isgrove and Sheehan up to speed so a key game for me. Plus Leeds don't need to win tonight to qualify as they have a game to come against Crewe.

Missed that one, I am normally all over the U21's news. Second time that's gone on him. Hope it isn't career ending.
I would be surprised if Joffy, Greenwood, Drameh or Summerville play tonight, maybe half a game tops.

I wou;ld start all fouyr but that's me.
Of those four Drameh is tipped to start but the others not and highly unlikely they will even be in the squad.
I would expect Joseph to start up front, top scorer so of course he will start. Charlie has looked good in the last couple of games and Spencer did OK in the last game.
So maybe, Klaesson, Drameh, Mullen, Moore, Spencer, Gyabi, Allen, Gnonto, McGuirk, Perkins and Joseph.

Sads has his own seat on the subs bench, Hutchinson can't have a seat until he's grown big and tall.

Bench: Harry Christy, Amari Miller, Max Dean, Joseph Snowdon, Cian Coleman, Luca Thomas, Jay Bucha

A bit disappointed not seeing toal or beck or he will probably come on as sub.
Who's had a bet on a Dixon error.
Well, That's it. The game is lost if he's in goal.
1-0 Who would have thought it?
Neat finish by Bodvarsson from Isgrove cross. Good to see him so lively down the right.
A cross ! there's a first.
Isgrove something we have missed. Strikers thrive on crosses.
