They will be elements within the Tory party and voters all over the country that will hate the fact an ethnic minority is PM.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There will be elements of all parties that don't like it. Perhaps this is why Labour haven't promoted minorities or females to prominent positions as much as Conservatives have because they think their voter base won't like it?
No links to racist content on this thread, thanks Lisandro
I’m just showing what the Tory Party membership thinks.

No you linked to a racist content from a racist that claimed to be a Tory member. Once again actions speak louder than words.
Oh he’s not a Tory Party member now?
I said he claimed to be one. Is he representative of the "Tory Party membership"? Can't actually be possible if an ethnic minority is chancellor, let alone when he becomes PM.
The members were the reason that Rishi didn’t win the first time.

Feel free to prove that means they're racist.
Seeing as an ethnic minority got the second highest amount of votes. How close has a Labour ethnic minority gotten to being leader again? How many times have they voted for a female?
You are arguing that the Labour party membership is more racist than the Tory membership and completely sexist if this is your logic.

Oh ok, so bascially Tory had the first ethnic minority PM in 1868, and voted Michael Howard in the early 2000s
So we've had more minorities than Labour as leaders, the first non white minority about to become leader, Labour have had none, and Labour have had no female leaders voted in compared to our several
What does that say about Labours member base compared to ours?

The Tories only promote minorities who oppose immigration. Lets be honest, they are minorities but they think like the majority of voters in this country when it comes to immigration.
Rishi, Priti Patel & Braverman would all deport their parents friends if they had the chance. They are good game players & have sold their souls in order to progress their careers.
The Tories in turn, have used them cleverly, to show the country they are the party of the people. As you are right now to score cheap points. Zzz
But it is easy to see through all this. Labour have quite of few minorities in their current shadow cabinet. What else you got?
It says that Labour aren’t just promoting inept people into positions of power to give the impression of being tolerant and diverse, unlike the Tories.
What does that say about Labours member base compared to ours?
They have less minorities in higher positions. So what? You want a medal? Here 🥉

Goodness me, what is it, 5 in Labours cabinet out of 30 or something? Is that your big stat?
What's the average of ethnic minorities in Labour and Tory cabinets over the last couple of decades?
Of you toddle to go and work that out...

No I would like Labour to promote their ethnic minorities to higher positions in the party so that it's clear there are no barriers to the top jobs.
We are leading the way on that one so there's no excuses.

Ah I see, they're just taking knees to appear tolerant rather and diverse rather than promoting inept ethnic minorities. Nice to know you consider ethnic minorities so inept they can't fill the top jobs btw.

That's not what's come across from what you've said. You've managed to imply that Labour have only inept ethnic minority MPs since none of them have been promoted to the top jobs, Tory ethnic minority MPs are altogether incompetence.
And you've managed to link to racist content too...
So apparently from the arguments we've had :
The Tories only promote minorities who oppose immigration, as opposed to minorities who are intelligent, hardworking, talented and capable of the job
And the Labour party doesn't promote ethnic minorities to top positions because none of them are intelligent, hardworking, talented and capable of the job, despite it being pointed out that Labour has more minority MP's than the Conservative party

Question: Was Brexit a mistake?
I think a lot of people dont want to see an ethnic minority PM and this will be the last straw that drives mainstream party voters towards the far right
