Klopp got off with no touchline ban. Whiffs a bit does that.

Not sure it will change the outcome though.

Heart 1-3
Head 4-0

JM out before MOTD.

You're being optimistic aren't you! My heart says a 3-1 defeat, whereas my head says a 5-0 defeat. Hopefully JM will have his suitcase packed, so the coach can drop him off at Manchester Airport on the way home.

If we had a full team available, a reasonable 2-0
loss might be on the cards. But we don't. If we keep
it under 5 against I''ll be shocked.

Head says Liverpool 6 vs Leeds 0. Jesse gone.

I’ve said in a couple of threads that we need to park the bus. We’ve had 2 good games against big 6 teams this season, but if we play our usual way, and try playing out from the back…5-0 Liverpool.

I’d try Llorente up front, knows where the goal is. If Badform hadn’t blocked his overhead kick, it may have been goal of the season.

^^^^^

steross, stealing this from one of the other threads
because it made me laugh. And then I thought in an
effort to help Jesse square peg Klopp into submission
why not expand on it? My square peg eleven:

------------------- GK Firpo ------------------
Greenwood / Jack / Perkins / Bamford
Meslier / Ayling
Koch / Pascal
Llorente / Raz

Pen-s Ball formation.

πŸ˜‚ Desperate times require desperate measures…you could keep Firpo at LB and still have a square peg 11.

I contemplated that steross.
He's a truly sh 1 t signing and left back.

We'll be 1 nil down after 3 mins for VAR awarded penalty. You heard it here first. Plucky 4 nil loss

Fearing an absolute thumping tomorrow evening but with a Bottle of Bushmills by my side it will help ease the pain.

Batty, I was thinking the other day, how far down the football pyramid would Firpo have to go to be considered decent.

Eight nil to Liverpool is my prediction.
We'll probably have at least one player sent off and JM will be replaced shortly after full time with Mark Jackson who will conduct the after match interview.

Great thinking. Let’s just hope the referee can’t count past 11.

Dont think u will get hammered. A three nil or something, unless u get a player sent off.

I’m not convinced by Liverpool this season. They were lucky to beat West Ham last time at Anfield, and lost to an energetic Forest team last week. Virgil does not command the box like he used to and Liverpool fans shut their eyes every time Gomez makes a tackle. They are coming into this off the back of a trip to Ajax so they will want to score early and put the game to bed.
Our results are poor, but our overall play is good. We create plenty of chances, we just can’t put them away. We haven’t really been smashed this season. Even our loss at Brentford could easily have gone the other way until late on. Also, Marsch is creating a new team, playing a different way. Players are still getting used to each other. Finally, we play better against the big teams and I can see us getting chances.
Marsch has challenged his players to deliver and I think we will see an improved performance. Will it be enough? I’m going for Bamford to end his drought and Nunez to score a late equaliser for Liverpool.
Oh, wait a moment, that tw@t Attwell is the ref. Sorry, Liverpool to win 6-0.

Any result will be compared to Forest's.

An in form Liverpool will thrash us.

If we raise our game as we seem o do to a degree against the top teams, could be a Chelsea but more likely an Arsenal.

Marsch is still convinced of the support from the board, so it's not his back against the wall.

Players like him, so there really isn't a big pressure on them.

The crowd has to stay behind the team, really have to give all the support that they can.

I'd like to applaud whoever it was who suggested
we play Meslier and Klaessen in goal together.

Genius. Masterstroke.
