ETH got the subs wrong today. Fred for Bruno and Sancho for Elanga.
We made it much harder than it needed to be in H2
Special credit to DDG and Maguire at the end
nail biting victory + 3pts
Dalot was outstanding defensively.
I’m not West Ham’s biggest fan but they battered you lot in the second half.
They deserved all three points today.

Yes, I’m not overly disappointed Bruno is suspended for the next game. After a good display against Spurs and 1st half against Chelsea he’s gone backwards again.
These are the games that count come the end if the season. The ones where you don't play well but still get the points. We are becoming more difficult to beat. Good progress so far under ETH.
Thought we looked great first half, total control, patient, create chances.
Started second well too but then we were forced deeper and deeper by a physically superior side.
De Gea, Martinez and Dalot
I tend to give players a two year period before making a judgement on them. Elanga is about 18 months into my opinion process of him, and i gotta call it early. hes not great is he?
I love that ETH has dropped AWB, Maguire, Ronaldo, Sancho etc. Breath of fresh air.
He just can't seem to ditch Bruno however. I understand the reasons why but Bruno was a liability today, as he is so so often with his terrible passing
We’d have lost that 6 months ago, never mind taken 3 points.

we looked tired. So much giving the ball away.
Got away with it. Our passes ... A game to forget

Are we meant to take you seriously?
Eriksen is a bigger liability than Bruno. We desperately need FDJ or someone his ilk in Jan
We absolutely desperately need a striker in January
I must have watched a different game that second half then... Your keeper and right back were your best players.
Couldn’t give a fack whether you take me seriously or not.
Is Martinez even tall enough to be allowed inside a football ground?

What the hell do you people watch?
I thought Eriksen was the best of the midfield 3 but that’s not saying a lot.
Casemiro has been good in recent weeks and has generally made us more dominant but he gives it away so cheaply at times.
We essentially played with one real attacker today given that Elantra just doesn’t look up to it and Ronaldo continues to look well-past it.
We need a couple of attacking additions across January & the summer, and hopefully Martial can find some fitness & Garnacho can develop further. Going to require patience with our current weaknesses in attack.

We created chances, probably should’ve have scored 1 more and WHU were totally nullified.
Not sure what more you want after a mid week game.

United on top first half. West Ham on top second half.
1-0 United about fair.
That second half started with Casemiro giving away 3 bad passes on the trot. Straight to an opposition player.
Bruno had a chance to set a a player on his way to his left, plenty of time and space mad passed it to his right to an opposition player.
We keep blaming out defenders when things go wrong but it's our MF and forward players who don't help easing the pressure off our defence and goal.
Rashford s order today and overall has been a lot better but he still doesn't challenge for Arial duels from a long goal kick and often runs too far ahead and stops and watches whilst the opposition player gets the ball and plays it forward.
Tbf it's not just him. Bruno does this too. Then runs like a headless chicken
Defence starts from the front. Your one nil up. 5 minutes to go. The opposition is piling on the pressure. Why are you giving the ball away? Play it to each other. Kill the momentum. We play the ball all the way back to the keeper when teams sit back and we need a goal. Even in the dying minutes. One nil up with 5 minutes to go surely now is the tile to play keepy ball?
