“We keep blaming out defenders when things go wrong but it's our MF and forward players who don't help easing the pressure off our defence and goal.“
There are a lack of forward passing options for both defence and midfield on the ball.
The point someone made earlier that 6 months ago we would have lost that game is bang on, I'll always love getting 3 points from them despite it being a tough, nervous watch, second half anyway

I’m not West Ham’s biggest fan but they battered you lot in the second half.
They deserved all three points today.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We didn't. Negative Moyes. Soucek is one of the worst players I've ever seen in a west ham shirt who made his name off scoring tap ins. Scamacca must be sick of seeing balls going in the box in the last 10 mins when he is sat on the bench. Like clockwork he is taken off for Antonio on 65 mins. Always 7 defensive minded players

United on top first half. West Ham on top second half.
1-0 United about fair.

The second half was pretty even until 75 or 80 mins I’d say.
ETH didn’t do the fans any favours with the subs, but we got the job done.
Jalisco.. at least a non hissy fit response
I didn’t see the first half, hence my post alluding to what I saw about the second half and West Ham deserving all 3 points.
When your own fans above are all praising DeGea, Dalot, Martinez it speaks volumes.

Don't know about that tbh.
I gave examples of Casemiro and Bruno (but there are many others in today's game alone) where it's the wrong option rather than no option.
Under powered pass or simply straight to an opposition player

To be fair I was on the wind-up a bit 😆
Sounded like West Ham deserved at least a point.
There will be games like this where we just have to accept the performance in possession isn’t up to scratch but get the game over the line. Winning without playing well is a skill that wins trophies, so personally I take some umbrage in that today.
It was a good three points. We could and should have put it to bed before West Ham’s onslaught in the last ten. A bit lucky in the end to get the three points, but Maguire, Dalot and De Gea were really switched on to prevent an equaliser. Lots of positives from today for numerous reasons. Particularly the control of the first half and the determination to dig in for the win in the last ten.

Fair point and one I agree with, even during the Fergie years there were matches where we weren't superb but ground out the results and this team is still developing, 3 points is the goal and let the squad develop over the next 12-18 months
Some posters on here just spout negative things all day
12 PL games into ETH's reign, we are bound to be inconsistent, at least we are creating a winning mentality and seeing positive signs.
Martinez, Dalot, Shaw & DDG all great today. Maguire had a very good last 20mins too.
Having a genuine number 9 would make a huge difference in games like these I think. Not a single one of our forwards apart from glasstial excels at holding the ball up. It helps no end when we're under the cosh like we were the last 20 mins.

I love that ETH has dropped AWB, Maguire, Ronaldo, Sancho etc. Breath of fresh air.
He just can't seem to ditch Bruno however. I understand the reasons why but Bruno was a liability today, as he is so so often with his terrible passing
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Eriksen was as bad tonight. We were sloppy in possession.
Buzzyspur having a mare here. Coming in all guns blazing and eventually back tracking on his own wum
