You'll notice Rodri's shortcomings a bit more, the more Walker is injured tbh

If Gundo were to go (and I hope he stays and becomes a player coach) then maybe his replacement is more a box to box type similar to Yaya? Maybe Phillips can be that player if he ever finds the door out of the treatment room.

I expect tomorrow to be mainly the kids so maybe one of them can play that role, they are certainly a talented group.

Bellingham is the obvious choice I think having seen him play. Gets around the pitch with ease and puts in work both defensively and attacking. Bernardo’s work rate will be irreplaceable, but I think Bellingham would come close. I imagine both Silva and Gundogan could leave next summer.

Grated, they are offering Bernardo a new contract so that may be a good sign. Best MF of his type in the PL.

Gundo’s past his best but still useful, Bernardo must be kept unless we are definitely getting Bellingham

Yeah heard a bit of noise about Bernardo being happy! Don’t want to get hopes up though yet, I was pretty resigned to him leaving next summer. Touch wood he stays 😬

Can’t see us going for Bellingham if he stays though, unless Phillips proves unable to maintain his fitness.

Bernardo reminds me of mount (but better),tenacious, eye for goal, creative and a good ball carrier. Mount should be looking at bernardo and aim to be getting to those levels. Wonderful player.

Easy being a City fan these days eh? Let’s just go and sign Bellingham.

You only have to look at Liverpool and Spurs to see the importance of a quality midfield and how poor teams are without one. We now have the best striker in the world and the best front 3 in the PL so retaining the best midfield is essential to get the best out of them. It would be nice to get a box to box midfielder, especially if he could take penalties!

Not sure about Phillips, needs to be fit to make a judgement. If we do buy, buying well is the key and City get it right more than most, it isn't just about spending money, look at Spurs, being financially dopey they always seem to spend badly.

We are bringing youngsters through, watch the CL against Sevilla, I expect 4 or 5 to play a part. Palmer is the one starting to get more first team games and he looks a high quality option but there are others on the production line. City will continue to buy, but not in high numbers so quality is important. Better 1 high quality than 2 poorer players for the same money. City took more in transfer fees than they spent last summer.

Think the entire team is suffering in Walkers absence. Its a pity he is now in his 30s as Pep has molded him perfectly into the player who allows us to comfortably play the highline but he may yet get too old and held back by injuries to continue in this team.

The CL Win prize money may see few changes which is irritating and our first game in Carabaro is against flipin Chelsea.

WE seem to be getting ridiculous draws lately. Couldnt blood the youth last season as we went out early and it could happen again this season.

Would love to see the youth fullbacks, palmer at least play against Sevilla. Them training with the first team is good news though.

Surely Dortmund wouldn’t have let him and Haaland leave?
