You’re all missing one other point… JKA will now sue for all his wages due under the contract he was entitled to. This will have been pre-drafted, for however long that contract was for. Could easily be another £5m+
What an utter fur cup on the club's part - a right old shambles!
£367,000 for every minute played. You couldn't make it up!!
Still better value for money than Dan James.
There goes our striker and left back in January

5 year deal. No chance a £18m player isnt going to be on at least 50k aweek
Could be talking another £15m
Maybe we can pay Chelsea 18 million to take Orta?
Bielsa said it was “convenient” to let him go…I read that as an unforeseen catastrophic event happened and the owners jumped on it to finagle a way to get out of the deal.
Salonika - I think when Leeds and Leipzig agreed to make him a free agent, he probably terminated any contract he had…but who knows, it’s Leeds FFS!
Outwood - The only way we were getting a striker and LB in January, was if Santa Claus dropped them down the chimney.

I’m sure I’ve read somewhere it was £63k a week…might be wrong!
The whole saga is a fook up of epic proportions
Terrible mistake buying the player but a bigger mistake to try and fight off paying the bill. Absolutely stinks.
No doubt the club will try and lay the blame somehow at Balsa's door.

That's not far from the truth!! 🤣🤣
Such a terrible signing. The first time he turned out for the reserves/u23's you could see he was nowhere near fit, never mind Bielsa fit.
So fee plus Augustin wages plus legal costs (presumably both sides legal costs).
Really hope Radz has fired the idiots who are responsible for this monumental cock-up. I assume he did take legal advice.

If Salonika is right, this could affect our dealings in the transfer market for many years to come.

I can’t see him being entitled to wages as he was released. You never know though.
The £18m is in three instalments. Will it affect January? It might as £6m a pop is 2 players on £60k a week in reality. That’s two decent players we might not be able to afford due to this mess.
Someone got well shafted with the loan to buy contract we signed. Surely they should have put in a couple of clauses to allow us to say “no thanks”.
It’s like leasing a car with the option to buy but the engine blows up and you still have to buy it. Not much of an option really.
