One player like Tsimikas can fack up your whole game. The guy needed a few touches before he controlled the ball. This slowed our build up play. We had three players against one Atalanta player on the side line for the first goal and none of them win the ball. That's league one level defending.

They can set the tone though. How many teams by their own admission have been overawed before a ball has been kicked on European nights? Atalanta players got a free pass in that respect.

Everyone was getting too ahead of themselves and looking to the night out in Dublin. You never know we could turn it around, but what a shame would have been Klopps last night with us.

It's not on the fans but they didn't exactly try and pick the players up after we went 1-0 down.

Sometimes the players need the fans to get going, just like the fans need the players to give them something to sing about.
