Why isn't their first goal offside? He's in an offside position affecting play.
I'll tell you why. Because Alisson gave him it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah but it should have been disallowed because Allison only made the pass because of the attacker being in an offside position...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But any retaaaard can tell the difference between a defender trying to stop a pass and the team in possession messing up
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you don't think the defender messed up whilst in possession? Interesting take.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A header to cut out a pass over the top is so obviously not the player in possession that I'm embarrassed for you that you are suggesting it is.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So the player playing the ball isn't in possession of it?
No need to feel embarrassed for me. I can understand the laws of the game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
An attempted interception is so clearly different to just a bad pass a la Allison. Amazing you are suggesting otherwise
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Still not actually able to explain why though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why they are different? One is only happening BECAUSE of the offside player being there. The other is just a normal pass gone wrong.
Dreadful Liverpool continues
So they had to go with the on field decision for the Wolves goal because the camera couldn’t check the right angle.
Cheating facks and still didn't win.
Another fixture too. Oh dear. 😂
Had some better moments in that game but a poor performance overall, Wolves really unlucky not to be going through.
Can you imagine City, Newacstle, and Chelsea allowing this to happen? No! They'll get the chequebook out and i.orove the squad

Strong argument that you shouldn't use such a forensic and strict system if that system has limitations.

Salah was in an offside position as the ball was played, goal stands.
Their player was in an onside position when the final ball is played, goal ruled out.
You can see why there are questions.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They were both correct decisions, the problem is the rule itself. Salah obviously interferes with play by being where he is, the player attempting to head it shouldn’t reset the phase.
Looks like the Wolves one is because Nunes is off when the ball was played off the Wolves player. Problem is that the ball was played backwards. Makes no sense that you can be offside when the ball is played backwards.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Salah doesn't obviously interfere with play. Interfering with play has specific definitions and he doesn't meet them. The idea that he caused the defender to head that ball falls down when we look at the Leicester own goal where a defender went for the ball despite no Liverpool players being near it.
2. It makes sense that you can be offside when the ball is played backwards, if you are offside when it is played.

They have issues in their squad. They've bought in a DF and FW. They're also buying Fernandez. Well done Boehly. Putting FSG to shame
No point moaning constantly. Our mid is done, until signings come in, it is what it is.
Yep. So despite all the training they had during the world cup we have totally lost our way.
We not finishing top 4 with that midfield. Today I think has been the real eye opener. I think we had a chance if Diaz and jota was available.
