Gakpo has just always been good in tight spaces. Which is why Klopp thought he could be our Firmino replacement, but he prefers it on the left wing.

doubt it was his height that did that tbh, not like we punt balls head height to him. prob more to do hes good on the half turn and on the ball quite tidy usually .

Gakpo when he’s on form is a superb player we just don’t see it enough. He’s been bang up for it tonight.

Grav and Gakpo look different animals under a Dutch manager. Probably given them confidence.

I'd like to see Nunez on for Diogo for half an hour. Milan defence looks ropey so he can get his confidence up. Jota hasnt played well

jotas orchestrating the press though can nunez do that? its clear the press wants to cut off passing angles and force them into certain areas...

its prob the main reason hes stuck with same teams pretty much. not just nunez.

Apart from first maybe ten minutes, we’ve been the far better team imo.
