like the idea from salah there gd move, tsimikas has been awful on the ball too but ive sympathy rarely gets a minute.

That's cos he's not very good. He's better than he's shown tonight though.

we need hendo but more quality, a hybrid between him/milner with someone with more quality like maddison. something we've not really had since gerrard maybe?

As much as I've defended Henderson over the years, and rightly so, it's fair to say it's time for the Milner role. As it stands that's our weakest position in this system really. We don't have a single player that can do it properly imo.

Happy with that. Controlled the game nicely.

Trent's crisp forward passing is giving me a stiffy.

Tsimikas looks rusty but overall a good half from us.

fabinho was steady, hendo was involved but lot left to be desired offensively a lot broke down with him. back to goal, tight spaces hes useless that far up the pitch, does alright wide and deep when he can get his head up.

This system doesn't suit his game at all.

he pressed very well opening half hour or so some nice turns and link ups too. saw less of him towards the end though. Heres where klopp needs have a word with him remind him to pick it back up keep it going 2nd half as he can fade out of games a lot.

carvalho for hendo would be nice to see.

i get the caution though that right side, konate learning to cover trent etc in a dodgy new role...

chucking in elliott and carvalho there or even jones tbf risky.

Elliott should never ever play there.

Yeah in all fairness our attack has been terrible sometimes this season
