You would think it was a physical game but it wasn't anything crazy.

Ayew should be getting grief along with the ref. First booing is inevitable and he booked 2-3 players before his 2nd yellow for taking out players when about to counter.
He even booked Gomez for the same thing and he was by the palace corner flag 😂

He booked nearly everyone 's at least he was consistent. Problem is some refs use common sense and go with the flow of the game. Variance is crazy. That's the issue

No one on TNT thinks its a 2nd yellow. Haha wtf its a professional foul. Stonewall. Joe got a yellow for exact same

This. The ref was consistent.

Unpopular opinion but thought the officials had a good game considering the tactics from Palace, laid down the marker early for being punished for tactical fouls and stuck to it. Second penalty decision also correct, although no idea why it took so long. First penalty decision correct also but again no idea why it took so long or why they needed to look at the screen.

All in all correct decisions in a difficult game to officiate in an intimidating ground.
