Klopp has given up on Keita hasn’t he. 3rd time in 7 days he’s been available and not started.

Pretty telling that Ox still starts ahead of despite being utter Shiite.

I was at the game against leceister and kept an eye on keita when he came on for his off the ball effort, it was non existent. He pranced about like a guy that didnt want to be there.

Compare that to bajetic who came on and was snapping into tackles, chasing lost causes. Was like chalk and cheese.

I actually thought Keita did alright when he came on in that game but my expectations of him are so low these days perhaps that skews things a bit.

We really need more ball winning midfielders for sure.

He had a couple of nice wee touches and flicks on the ball but there were 3 or 4 off ball occassions where his effort to chase/press etc was pathetic. I even commented on it at 1 point during the game it was that noticeable. Not good enough for someone who had just come on to bring some energy to the team.

Theres no question hes been a flop of thr highest order. For the money that was paid the output should be so much more.

Keita cost £52m plus big wages to lie on our treatment table and leave on a free.
Karius cost a pittence and we got our money back in loan fees but he cost us a champions league final.

Probably Karius still.

Id still go keita. He cost 14/15m more and at least in 17/18, ox was actually developing into 1 of our most important players prior to his injury. Keita has never at anytime been a guy youd say he has to play. Hes done nothing of note his entire time with us

Ox was flying in when we beat City & Roma in the champions league, that injury and the subsequent ones after killed his Liverpool career. Baby has never shown anything close to what Ox has in a Liverpool shirt!
