Yeah but a midfield of Max, Clarke and Bradley against the PNP Forest midfield is not wise. Even Elliott if he swaps with Bradley we will get bullied. It will be Gomez.

Main problem as far as I could see with Gomez as a 6 was the way he seemed to just jog back when ever we lost the ball - not enough urgency for me. Other than that he was “ok”. His passing is actually fairly decent imo.

he imrpoved as the game went on in possession but yeah our mf was non existent vs southampton in terms of protection infront of the back 4 .It was pretty much 3 v 3 or 4v4 or 2v2 at the back many a time with g omez jogging back watching it all unfold true. Thats the case vs Odoi Elanga and Origi you expect us to be punished.
