Maybe it’ll put an end to Klopp’s frugality

He’s hardly spent a penny over the last 7 years
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's had to make do with half as much as Pep
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Make do? He’s spent £1bn

No I can't. It's a clear conflict of interest Jadon.

Some three foot halfwit in a wig somewhere will say LFC are direct competitors to United, even though we are fighting at the top end of the table and they're 8th or whatever.

I was being tongue in cheek about making do but:

Pep = €1.2bn
Klopp = €717m

Guys I just want to make it clear that I will not undertake any part of the negotiations. It would be a total conflict of interest on my part, with my project on the MK-consortium and getting the Glazers out.

I imagine LFC will be sold to some oil dopers.

You can't advise on two (potential) acquisitions/disposals in the same sector at the same time?

They are one of the same thing. First it's new shareholders then the next stage is a full takeover. They have probably started their end game strategy.

Net spend is a bit of a false comparison though IMO. Clubs who make more money commercially will nearly always spend more on players anyway. It's not just money spent and received that makes up the real 'net spend'.

Elon Musk is readying a bid!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
After seeing what he's doing to Twitter, I think that'd be a fantastic move for Liverpool and they should definitely try and get that to happen. Wonder if he'd make the players pay $8 a month to be verified

We'd have Twitter as our sponsors and a new futuristic looking stadium called the SpaceX Aerodrome

Forbes values the club at $4.45b (£3.6b)

I doubt there's anyone that's willing to pay that amount for a football club, Chelsea being an anomaly due to the sanctions.

It's definitely more a move to bring in new investors to generate capital or profits for FSG or both

Got to remember the starting point of both teams when the respective managers took over though. Our squad was terrible.

They are definitely selling if the right offer comes. This wouldnt be breaking news if they are simply looking for new investors whilst they hold on to 60% of the stake.

Ah yes. Got you now!

It's just a basic truth though really. Net spend should only really be a measure (if used at all) for clubs who don't have the gigantic revenues the big boys have.
