Nah, they had alot stronger/ experience team than us.

We played well, alot of positives. If you can not see that 🤷🏻‍♂️

Bit disappointed we didn’t put out a strong side and try and get to later rounds, it’s basically a reserve/youth team. One or two good performances though, just lacking up front.

Underwhelming…..oh well pity about Gelhardt hopefully not a serious injury.

Dissapointed to go out. Think we should have gone slightly stronger and stop playing Harrison on the left.

Our changes in formation don’t seem to effect the game. Do we just change because we want to try something different or for a specific reason?

Joffy should have started in the right, Harrison left and Joseph up too.

Really impressed with Joseph, Perkins, Hjelde. I’m optimistic that we can see a few more youth signings as starters in the next few years.

They've not had much to cheer this season.

Of the debutantes I thought Perkins and Joseph did OK, Gyabi struggled.
The other person I think who had a poor game this evening was Klichy. Not sure if that is lack of game time or he no longer has it in him.

If we had a decent striker we would have won that. Plenty of positives. Perkins and Hjelde were good. 👍

Thanks everyone for the company. Pitty to go out, but there isn't much a cold beer can't fix.

More impotant games coming up.

Thought a lot of the young kids played tidy enough and looked promising….agree on Wolves fielding stronger more experienced line up would rather get something on Saturday than worry about tonight.

Absolutely right, Wetherby. Gnonto and Greenwood were the nearest thing to first teamers on the bench. This game was up for grabs, we could have given ourselves another match for young players to prove themselves and a chance of a trophy. I don't get it. Jesse is not alone in disregarding this tournament. Are first teamers only capable of playing for 90 minutes a week?

Sir Halfy can you answer my question about Hwang, I want to believe that if he does end up coming our way that he is a player with integrity but he just looks a fackin' cheat to me. Is he always like that?

Just Rodrigo and Aaronson in and we beat that poor wolves side.

Decent performance from a very youthful side. Zero sleep will be lost over the result, says it all about the season Wolves are having if they're elated over this.

Biggest takeaways for me, very pleased we didn't sign Chan nor Adama Traore - the latter just a muscular Dan James.

On to Saturday 👍
