It's a tough one cos you wanna support your players fully and playing in a WC will only make you a better player in the long run, but this season especially it could really bone your club side.
Lots of people like international football and their own players. Not that hard to get.
Love the World Cup. No issues with our players going there. I’d rather all the best ones did, makes it a better tournament.
If a player is called up for international duty does the club get any financial remuneration?
For the op: if we had say 5 quality irish players in the team and ireland made it to the WC.
Would you still want them to stay at home?
Whenever England lose a game my mood isn't effected one bit. Even after the penalty shootout loss to Italy where I was obviously hoping we'd win....I really didn't feel that down after the game ended.
Compare that to how I felt after the Villarreal final a few weeks earlier and you'd think it was two different people.
I do like the world cup though but that's more the spectacle and all the other teams as much as it England.

5 quality Irish players?
But to answer your question of course I’d want them to go. My point I suppose was when they are from other countries.
I mean it's the single biggest football tournament on the planet, probably even sporting event (of 1 sport). People wanna see their club players playing on the biggest stage, not that hard to understand.
Which United fan wouldn't want to see Rashy score the winner in a World Cup final?
Me personally im not fussed but ill watch the liverpool players hoping they do well and stay injury free.
Results wise couldnt give a monkeys

fair enough. Point stands for other nation (and Utd) player fans though.
82 is correct, it’s the best show in earth. Atleast sporting one anyway

Yeah this.
As a fan of a club you surely strike up some sort of attachment with most your players and like to see them do well? Even if its not United-related. I find it more odd when people don't think that way tbh.
