Is the full interview out midweek?

Hopefully, what we haven't seen so far and what will be in it are pretty big digs at the Glazers too. If he does that and they go that'll be, by far, his biggest contribution since he came back to the club.

I do think the interview will have been very recent as well. United were promoting the No7 thing last week so I don't think they'd have included Ronaldo if they knew about this interview.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"Nothing has changed. The gym, Jacuzzi, the kitchen, technology"

Damning a club size of united.

This is why most talented kids are going to our neighbours
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'd think that playing in a better team with more chances of winning trophies would probably trump the latest jacuzzi.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The facilities and technology they have and the best in class are all contributing factors. Better believe city have the latest Jacuzzi and top tier facilities
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I do agree with you (and Ronaldo) on this. Much as I thought his interview was incredibly inappropriate that doesn't mean he didn't make any valid points. United should be embarrassed with his we've let ourselves drift in terms of facilities and being best in the class. The best young players in greater Manchester are almost invariably more impressed by what City can offer and that's where they go. Sad but true
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They would resort to ' do you even support united' and that sort of gibberish because they people are walking cliches.

I said first he has been poor and his time is up!!

He mentioned something about being disrespected his kid passed and I said I would like to see any further comments regarding this. You have imbeciles here that have never been to OT talking about love this and that.

From the snippets I have seen, not that we did not know, but we are going to get a better picture of how this great club we are being embarrassed by our noisy neighbours damn near every game

It is a bit daft to suggest he is washed up. He hasn't suddenly become crap. Yeah he isn't the Ronaldo of the past but he still has a lot to offer to the right club.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You quite clearly have not been watching us or paying attention to his antics. It is why none of the big CL clubs came anywhere near him in the summer.

He is no longer worth this kind of $hit he keeps coming out with.

For those of you here living in the US.

How will this be seen in terms of the Glazers. Their big signing and star player being seemingly really critical of the whole operation.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

A non event. I have been here 12 years and don't think I have yet to see the glazers mentioned.

Utd must’ve got wind of this interview. Can’t think of any other reason why ETH would’ve made him captain. By making him captain it shows the club and the coach still respect him. So his claims aren’t valid.

Nah I don't think so. He was left out of the squad for the last two games with an undisclosed illness. I imagine that's when the interview details became known by those who matter at the club.

I don't think so. I think the manager definitely knew about it today and that's why his interview centred around talking about camaraderie.

Fair enough. I thought they'd be a little embarrassed at least but, maybe not then!

I do hope that this interview means that we can legally cancel his contract without having to pay him off. We just need to get shut and draw a line under it.

It's a weird one. Ronaldo is kinda right to make it clear that facilities wise the club has gone nowhere (likely backwards) and that should be on the owners. They need to be shown up time and time again as the parasites they are and hounded out of the club.

The rest isn't acceptable in terms of criticism of current players/managers

Yeh he kind of didn't answer the question he was being asked in order to stress this point. Seemed odd at the time.

Whilst I am sure he is right, it all seems like deflection to me. We will have a better idea once the full interview is aired.

I imagine if Ronaldo had played better for us this season then he wouldn't have done an interview about our hot tub disrespecting him

posted on 14/11/22

I heard he had a major falling out with Harry Maguire after he jumped in the jacuzzi right after Maguire had been in and discovered a dead otter floating in there.

If this hastens his exit then I'm all for it. He's a ridiculous prima donna whose performances justify absolutely none of these antics and their ensuing circus. I'd bet he already knew he was gone after the WC so wanted to land a departing blow in advance.

And this was always going to happen with him; he was never, ever going to accept not being a starting player, despite the fact it was obvious he'd be dropping down the pecking order due to age & suitability in ETH's team.

I'm sure there's plenty of truth in his words regarding the hierarchy at United, the dereliction of the facilities & so on... We know all of that already though and frankly it seems as though he's playing to the gallery with those quotes.

Playing Devil's Advocate here but I just wonder if people like Rio, Keane and Scholes have been so soft on him is because he was ready to go public regarding the behind the scenes shambles the club has been? Unlikely I know but could explain why they've been so defensive about his performances.

I am sure they are not happy but it won't be news here, especially with the NFL season in full flow.

Rio talks with him regularly I believe, and I suspect even Keane speaks with him. They've been defensive over Ronaldo simply because they're pally with him. I'd take anything they say with a pinch of salt.

The facts are clear; he's way, way past his best and he's a nuisance for the club and probably the dressing room atmosphere & harmony.

They probably didn’t wanna get shunned by him. Look at what he did to Neville.

The bloke is a massive priiiiick.

To all people saying what he said about the club is true - maybe, but he said that with no purpose of helping the club getting better whatsoever. It is just to justify his ego and boost his chance for a move in Jan. Shame the story today should be about Garnacho.

This. Any legitimate criticism of the club is just filler content (and ignoring the fact that the people in charge since earlier this year are actually trying to do something about it). The point of the interview isn't to raise constructive criticism.
