Really good test match in the end, great effort from England to force the win. Hopefully more balanced contest between bat and ball in the next test match.

I believe Multan is pretty flat too but if we can get a full 5 days play without too much time lost to bad light then hopefully we will get a result. It looks like the sun sets about 30 minutes later than it does in Rawalpindi so we will still lose 7-8 overs a day I reckon. Still, that's 35-40 overs gained on this test.

If either side has a world class spinner, then be more chance of a quicker result

Don't think the captaincy was as problematic as the pitch, but it seemed like the whole set up was relying on a draw.

Babar captaincy is very Root and Cook like. Lead by example with the bat but no tactical idea on the field and will default to defensive cricket.

Stokes captaincy was a breath of fresh air. It was project managed to perfection which required taking huge risks. We and no one else has this free spirit.

Only change is Wood in for Livingstone with Pope retaining the gloves despite Foakes being fit.

Stokes has said it's a one off game in order to have more wicket taking options, and Foakes will be back, but can't help feel this is a tad unfair on both Foakes and Pope.

Pakistan to be smashed in this series. 3-0 England

Yeah I'm not sure I agree with this but Pope did fine with the the gloves and we definitely need Wood in. So Jacks was probably the only option to drop out as it may have been a risk to go with just Wood and one other seamer given that Stokes doesn't really bowl in the first innings to save himself for the second.

Looks like we will bring in Hasan Ali for Rauf and Nawaz for Salman.

We supposedly have this mystery spinner but chose Zahid who was easy pickings. Might as well throw him in. Team I would like is:
