Disgusting that Leicester is now majority brown.
Send them all back I say.
The Christian part is maybe a bit disingenuoust? does that also include folk who are simply atheists or don't say they are Christian?
The rest I care not a jot about and wouldn't even notice if pressed
Not even sure how this has happened seeing as everyone in the bible is white

Yeah it is. I'm remembering these figures from yesterday but it's along the lines of 47% Christian, 30% no religion, 10% Islam.
First of all, of course it doesn't matter what skin colour or religion people are. Diversity is great and it's why I choose not to live in a village in Wiltshire.
Secondly, a lot of those racists foaming at the mouth are doing so nakedly in bad faith. They are linking the huge drop in people identifying as Christian with "uncontrolled immigration" and ethnic minority communities "outbreeding us" - and framing their "concerns" around the population not having unifying values. (Those who want to cloak their racism in respectability always have to frame it around the problem of too much diversity in values, rather than genetics.) But the statistics show very clearly that what has happened over the last decade is a huge shift (around 20%) in predominantly white British citizens, from identifying as Christian to identifying as non-religious. Meanwhile, growth in the numbers of adherents of other religions has been marginal.
Ironically, the drop in self-identifying Christians, which the racists pretend to be so worried about, has been inflated by migrants from eastern Europe. Again, not something to highlight if you're a big racist, as it undercuts the immigration-eroding-our-shared-Christian-values narrative.

What's Jesus got to do with Santa?
The irony is that the influx of Polish people in the mid 2000s was said to have re-energised the catholic faith attendances in every city they moved to. Well done for voting for Brexit ya racists 😏
What racists are going crazy? I haven't looked at the news.

what did old saint nic have to do with christianity ?!
Saint Nicholas, the bishop ?
no idea , maybe someone else can clear it up?
There was a graph on the news last night where it showed a large rise in people with no religious belief which tallied with the drop in the followers of Christianity
And that can only be a good thing, the less people that believe in fairies and goblins, the better

Even if it is there is plenty good that comes from it, if it makes people better people then crack on.
each to their own.
I think its how quickly the demographic has changed that has surprised some.
Christian population in UK has fallen by 14% in 10 years?

I also dont think its skin colour that is the issue for some.
Its also different languages, beliefs, cultures, a lack of intergration, and a feeling of exclusion which all contribute to caution and suspicion for a lot of people.

Robinson changed his Twitter banner to a picture of Enoch Powell, being mixed-race with a Jamaican parent, I’m sure Enoch would have loved him…
Farage is hosting his GB News show tomorrow from an "unannounced" venue just down the road from where I live (anyone got any eggs?).
I wonder if his bile tomorrow will include criticising people who move into an area and don't integrate with the culture language of the place? It'd be somewhat ironic if he did.
*For the record I welcome anyone to this area that actually shows a bit of respect. They don't necessarily have to learn the language (be good if they did) but it'd be good if they didn't moan about its use.

Like rain, on your wedding day
I will sort of defend them, not for the racism but for numbers arriving.
There is a connection between our chronic shortage of housing and the number of people arriving of any colour.
We need a correlation between the two.
Many people are homeless, in hostels, living at home when adult, live in one room, flat share.
Let's get building and count the numbers arriving
Look to convert highstreet shops that are closing into old folks homes which good for them to be central, and frees up a house. Let's use imagination, encourage some business and government departments to move out of London. Let's help refugees, encourage people with skills.

Sorry. I read your post again. You are talking about people moving to Wales but not learning Welsh.
Hasnt English been the main language for most for hundreds of years?

Not really. There's a connection between the amount of houses the Tories said they'd build and the amount they didn't though.
