better late than never?

Just had an epic seasonal battle. Got the box containing Christmas decorations in from the garage and two mice popped out and ran amok inside the house. I noticed they had peed all over the tinsel so I've had to bin that.

I managed to capture the first rodent inside a Sainsbury's Bag For Life and escotred him off the premises. The other one hid under the log burner. I thought I had him trapped but he outsmarted me and made a bolt for behind the bookcase. He was in no mood to emerge so I got a poker and rattled it around the back, holding a box in the other hand ready to drop down on top of him when he made his bid for freedom. For a while just went from side to side at the back of the bookcase but then he lost his nerve and shot out. I slammed down the box but it hit him amidships and broke his spine. I'm afraid his days of peeing on tinsel are over.

I'm shocked by your casual cruelty.

I was at the game and let's face it we were rubbish in the 2nd half and didn't deserve to win. I am always surprised when a team bring on an extra centre half and we refer it as a back three, when it is really a back five.
