looks like passing is a thing worked on so fsr. knocking it about in true spanish fashion so fsr
But still mostly backwards and sideways. Bueno is the only one who attacks every time he gets the ball

Gillingham starting to dominate
not to bad overall. just the usual obvious issues centrally. created a few nice chances though with clever play.
I wish Podence would cut out the silly back heels, they almost never come off
If Loopy didn’t realise the size of the task, he does now
Wolves looked like a side that knows how to attack, but doesn't know how to score.
WHO KNEW?
decent performance overall. QF awaits.
Well there was a discernable change in style tonight, instead of the aimless messing around on the corner of the penalty area they did at least keep the ball moving side to side across the box but too very little purpose.
92 minutes to eventually put the ball in the net in open play against the league's bottom team, this Cunha dude better be bloody good else we are gonna get relegated for absolutely certain. We're clueless in front of goal, didn't see any improvement in Costa and I would seriously consider selling Guedes if anyone wants him. On a positive Bueno and Hodge looked good, the latter had our best chances in the first half and was very unlucky to be subbed at half time.
Against a Gillingham team that looked every inch a team bottom of League 2 we completely dominated the game but as usual rarely looked like scoring. Bueno, Neves and Hodge the best in the first half where we had all the ball, but an early shot from Bueno and a
Fabulous shot from Neves smashing against the post were all we had to show for it. Second half became more and more frustrating and we needed the penalty to give us a goal. Some poor performances from Semedo, Podence, Costa and Guedes. Neves by far the best player over the 90 but there was some bright sparks in the second half from Nunes and to be fair from Hwang.
Still desperate for a striker, and maybe more

Hearing that we are close to signing 33 year old Brazilian centre back Fhelipe from Athlethico Madrid.
That game showed why both teams are bottom of their respective divisions. We were camped out for long periods in their half, rarely threatening though.
If Costa is a poacher, we have to put the ball in the box more. Too often we would play out to the wings and rather than cross it, we’d play it back to Kilman or Collins. I also think we lack a player in midfield who will receive the ball then turn towards goal rather than away from it. And how often to Podence’s flicks and tricks come off in training? So frustrating. Great when they work (like the step over from the corner leading to Neves hitting the post) but too often we just give the ball away in a decent position.
Still, a win is win and enjoyed being back at Molineux after too many years away
Do think Costa had been poor. Although it can be argued that he hasn’t had great service, he has shown very little and he certainly doesn’t look like someone we could rely on going forward. Raul did look fit and mobile when he came on. Whether he can find any of his old form we will have to wait and see.
Podence is great when things are working for him but so many attacks broke down around him last night and he looks a bit of a luxury we can’t afford right now. Can’t believe how much Semedo’s form has dropped this season and he looks a liability much of the time. Guedes was clearly a good player in Spain but we haven’t seen that in old gold yet and he continues to make very basic errors. There was some promise from Nunes when he came on and he can be just what we need in midfield if the new manager can get the best out of him. And Bueno continues to be a revelation at left back.
Difficult to know what our best three up front should be at Everton. Maybe Adama, Raul and Hwang but our attack is desperate for new faces
