I feel like Fozzy is our best LB. If we can get a right back in.

Well I will agree with Peeder, FGR are very poor.

FGR very poor, but you still have to stick it in the onion bag.

How many points do I get for
4.0
Option A
Didzy?

Surely a few extra for the inside knowledge too?

PS ... they probably haven't trained much all week. Their training ground has been shut

If McG had not been playing I would have found it nearly impossible to name a MOM although our star GK would have been left out of the equation as he had nowt to do. There were so many outstanding performers but Goldie was outstandingly outstanding.

Some questions for you: 1. it's always been difficult to know what is Sib's best position but could it be LB? 2. Smith will never be a wing back but have we ever had a more dependable player? 3. Will Curt, barring injury or suspension, ever get back into this team? 4. Should not Knight get back in but if so who does he replace? 5. Would we just about be top of this League if we had not had injuries at various times to Chester, McG, Knight, M-L and Barks?

Fine thank you. Due to thaw so will recover it tomorrow. Don't understand why I have become so negative in my predictions .........

Good questions from Chicago and ones I have also pondered!

McGoldrick was like Eric Cantona today. His touch and balance were of a level way above this league. At one point he was like a one-legged ballerina, pirhouetting with absolute poise while holding off a defender effortlessly with one arm and deftly delivering yet another perfect little lay-off. If he hadn't scored any goals he was still man of the match. I thought Bird and Cashin were superb too as was Smith.

I was surprised Sibley started after he was replaced by Roberts last week but he has grown into the role and for the first time I have started wondering if he could actually play there permanently. I'm still doubtful but it no longer seems ridiculous. Maybe if we were playing a team with a Mendez-Laing type of player we might want someone there with more natural defensive qualities but he certainly gives us quality on the left when we are going forward.

At some point I'm sure Davies will come in for Forsyth but there is no need at all to rush it while the latter is playing so well. I said before the match I would like to see Knight back in the team. For me it would either be at Hourihane's expense or else to drop one of Collins or McGoldrick to the bench and play three in midfield. In the second half of the season Warne might rotate the midfielders a bit more and go more horses for courses with the fornmation. We are likely to have Smith as another midfield option if a right-back is signed in January. I'm sure he will be glad of a few options if injuries and suspensions start ruling players out of contention on occasions.

A really enjoyable day and one to marvel at McGoldrick's performance.
