sick of France winning stuff. So lets get behind Argentina.

Just hope Linekar Rio and Co dont kum in their pants every time Messi touches the ball.

Ironic when the wee man is leading the singing about the 'fvcking English' and Argentina making the final scuppered an English ref getting it. No wonder England are the laughing stock of the world.

Don't like Argentina but do like Messi and would like to see him win it. Kind of wish he was playing for France instead.

Hoping for a brilliant game of sh*thousery with booking and sendings off galore. Not bothered who wins.

I'd go for that too. And somebody whipping their top off to reveal some rainbow gear or pics with guys kissing triggering the police to get involved and generally ruining their precious tournament

If only we could have a Ronaldo-cam during the game - he either boots the fvck out his screen or does the smiley head shaking thing before stomping off to the kitchen.

Anyone in the UK NOT watching on BBC?

Argentina, which will finally close the book on Ronaldo & Messi.

The French around me aren't supporting Argentina, and neither am I.

Maybe Messi and Mbappe to meet each other just before kick off, hug each other and give each other a friendly peck on the cheek. Then getting arrested and carted off for homosexual behaviour.

Quite like the idea of having a Martinez Varane CB pairing (Both World Cup winners) so I'm team Argies today. I don't mind the French though like a lot of English seem to do.

Of course seeing Messi finally win it would be a very poignant moment in the history of the game too.

Got a feeling though that Mr Mbappe might ruin his big day though 👀

They will be if anything kicks off. Mamy may be 99,but she can look after herself, when awake.

I wanted Argentina at the start but now I can't decide. The Argentinians are such massive caaants and we'll never hear the end of it if France win it twice in a row.

I'm fecked either way. Just gonna enjoy it.

Switching between the two during the build up. ITV for the game

Since there’s no Croatia, I want at least a 2-2 game going all the way to penalties and plenty of tears from the losing players, don’t care who

Want Argentina to win it, it isn't even a tough question. Feck the french cants.

Hoping Alavrez and Griezmann score hattricks for a 3-3 draw with Messi and Mbappe missing in the shootouts. Should be enough to put an end to the BBC Messi narrative

Seeing that smug cant Macron with Infantino and Pogba just before KO removed any doubt over who I wanted to win. ‘Mon the Argies!

Be good to see an Argie win but it would be nice to have a proper goal rather than one as a result of Di Maria showing how well trained he was at falling over with minimal contact.

It's a shame football games are still being decided by such soft pens.

Never a pen in a million years.

French clearly decimated by the virus in the camp and Deschamp bottled the starting line up
