I don't know what you deserved, GT, I didn't watch the game. Mine was a genuine question. Football matches are more than just the stats on the sheet at the end of it; they're developing situations that very often twist and turn depending on the stuff that happens during the game.

Going on the commentary in the highlights I watched, Villa were at your throats from the first whistle and got an early goal before you even got a foothold in the game. That probably allowed them to sit back and adjust their game plan accordingly.

You can't just presume that you deserved more because you created better chances. For all anyone knows, if you had equalised Villa may well have been right up you straight away and grabbed another goal.

We dominated Villa completely in the second half. In the first half it was an even game at best.

We had enough chances to at least draw tonight. Should have had a pen.
