They're so boring that while watching MOTD2 I'm drinking my eye drops and pouring my red wine into my eyes
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You do that whilst taking your kids to school, so what’s changed?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well maybe you should go to Specsavers also then Baz cause you couldn't see driving home the other night because you don't even wear your glasses on TV in case you get slagged off so you just stick to Specsavers and let me do the game.

Ooh, ooh, Charlie took a woman from me in a club back in the 80s, I wasn't even gutted as he was with Celtic back then and he signed an autograph for me also I say "took" but she would likely have bumped me anyways

agreed. Born in 75
In the 80s you had He-Man, Transformers, Star Wars figures, BMX bikes, arcades, the ZX Spectrum, the golden age of 'blockbuster' movies, the best cartoons and children's programmes (including ones from the 70s that were still popular) – and all of this before mobile phones and social media, when being a kid was still all about climbing trees and swinging on rope swings and playing football until it went dark.

I genuinely feel sorry for the folks that were born in the mid 90s or later, the last few decades have been dreadful for music and kids shows, truly horrific.
You Gen X weirdos are people I never really encountered growing up. Our parents and teachers etc were boomers and our pals were millennials.
But now you lots are the main blokes at companies after boomers retiring so we have to deal with your shiiiite of phoning on Teams without messaging first
I also think that the 80s might have been the last decade in which 'pop' music was genuinely good.
Obviously you get some good pop songs even now, but I reckon 'alternative' music started to become more mainstream from the early 90s onwards because pop music just started to become more generic and predictable.
