People used to complain about the group stages being boring. UEFA have just gone and made it even worse.

idr fully, we were facked at the end either way, the lads overplayed with kids for a large period when players came back from injury they never go back up to speed and we fell off. Still should have beat u at OT in the cup though as Coventry should have too

First save was easy, terrible pen. Second one he did well to get up quickly but not what it's been hyped up to be at all.

Those that play the game understand the spin on the ball made it a difficult header for the rebound so came off his head weird and lacked power and went towards the keeper

The opposite. It reduces the amount of games with a LOT riding on them. There may be "more" games with something riding on them. But a much lower percentage of all or nothing games. Yes, deciding 19th and 25th place is technically not a dead rubber. But it is. Most games are dead rubbers with very little consequences for losing.

Just seen this

Another good example was when Messi missed a header rebound at City after he missed the pen. The spin facked it up off his head. These complexities happen that aren't obvious to the general public
