Yes

I don’t see how it’s any different to an offside or a foul in the build up, where the linesman or ref have missed something.

thats why u just use VAR and stick with what they say within 10 seconds. if they cant decide in 10 seconds stick with the onfield call. simple af.

How about if it hits the bar but the ref thinks the keeper got a touch and gives a corner? Take the corner back and take the freekick back, but the freekick came from the opposition corner which was incorrectly awarded. After an incorrectly awarded throw in the other way. Which came from an incorrectly awarded freekick.

The only time a corner or freekick decision should realistically be changed is if it's obvious and the VAR adult just tells the ref straight away. Not after the passage of play that follows.
