I don’t get this rhetoric about living up to his expectations and worrying about him walking? As if to say he isn’t playing dinosaur FOSSIL football. Lucky if he don’t get sacked.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But his expections are higher than Daniel Levy's. Thats enough for me to want him to stay and give his style a chance. Two more windows. Shift the remaining deadwood and buy a new defence.

I guess its easy to have high expectations when it's not your money.

While Howe has vastly improved Newcastle, he has spent £200m so far
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And even still they should be nowhere near top four. The average players have upped their game as they know they can easily be replaced.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How is an average player able to up their game on their own? If they're average they're average unless someone makes them better.

Gets even worse. Happy with the performance. Saying he never really believed in us this season and is laughing as he says it. Fack off man

He’s right though, our only creative player is Kulusevski.

Behind that Bentancur is alright but he’s much more of a Dembele than an Eriksen. Then Kane is decent but you don’t expect him to dictate tempo.

If pep and his city team are the all time team full of creators, only Kulusevski jumps out as a natural fit

Press interviews with managers are totally useless.
The manager is not going to say anything that isn't entirely obvious to anyone.
Its just an exercise in saying nothing.
I can tell all of you here ....on this thread .......
that Conte will be gone at the end of this season if Levy/Paratici/ENIC do not solve his back four problem this January window.
Behind the scenes you can bet your bottom pound/euro/whatever he has told the purse strings a list of players he wants (some of the list) and if he doesn't get at least 2 of them........goodbye baby.
Conte doesn't need to fart around with ENIC....he has options

Well let’s put it this way, if he goes at the end of the season, I won’t be upset (or surprised)

Will Daniel levy ever make Spurs successful on the pitch? Was this ever his plan?
When they sacked Poch I made a vow to myself that I wouldn’t give Enic another penny of my money until they showed some ambition to win silverware and not just rob the fans.

Saved a fortune so far.

I will be very disappointed. He's the best manager Spurs have had in several years...going back to Harry Redface and before that.

Funny how Conte has been a success in his previous roles but currently from some the worst manager on the earth.
if a new manager comes in 100% guaranteed we will be faced with the same situation down the line.
We need to spend money wisely and build a team.

Poor buys in Ndombele, Lo celso, Gill , Royale etc to name a few. This is the main issue here surrounding our club. We probably spent close to £70 mill since walker left and still can’t resolve our right back slot. It’s a joke.

Yes, and you can add Bissouma to your list of bad buys too.

I think we'll lose to Palace and Conte will be sacked. The guy is JOKE..... He talks about the fans needing patience and believing in the process, yet he won't sign a new contract and has a track record of bailing on clubs after a couple of years. Totally over rated checkbook manager who was always a ridiculous hire by shambolic ownership at Spurs. There is ZERO for Spurs fans to believe in

How do you know Conte won`t sign a new contract, you have no idea what is going on, it might be Levy who won`t offer him one, negotiations may be on going or they may be waiting until the end of the season or transfer window.

Before you hire Conte, you know what you are getting into and what he will want, so why hire him if you have no intention of backing him fully.

ENIC are a farce of an ownership, they need to act like a big club or fack off.

I think we are at a point now where if Levy does sack Conte this week, then he is truely in a pickle. The heat on Levy will be unbearable. Just because of a few bad results you cannot keep on sacking a manager every six months or a year.

Our fans need to realise it is the players not the manager. He needs to be backed.

What ‘heat’? There is no heat. Spurs have won nothing of note in nearly 40 years but still sell out their stadium and make millions in merchandise.

Fans need to realise there is no ‘heat’ on levy when the club is making so much money. Posting record profits.

Joe Lewis and Enic do not care about winning. Why would they? If they spend nothing the stadium would still be full. Spurs are a great investment. Literally don’t need to do anything and make loads of money.

I honestly do not want my boy to support this club. It’s a curse. It will drain you of your cash, promising loads and delivering absolutely nothing. Might as well support a lower league local side that, as a firefighter, I can at least afford to take him too.

F a ck levy and Enic.

I think Levy does get unfair criticism when it isn’t his money or club - it is Lewis’s.

Levy owns part of Spurs, he owns part of the company that owns almost all of the club, around 25% of Spurs belongs to Blofeld.

So you can see why he treats the clubs money like his own and can`t keep his nose out of anything regarding the football operation.

Levy is the one running it for max profit - Levy is a khunt, zero ambition of winning anything at Spurs.

Levy’s ideal season is spending nothing but qualifying for the CL - that Poch season was his wet dream.

I want owners who at least have the ambition of wanting to win trophies - why are we not allowed that.

ENIC and Levy out - this week hopefully

That isn't really true though, Levy has always put in a serious amount of work (works harder than anyone here) at the club in which there has been substantial investments off-the-pitch and more recently on-the-pitch.

The issue being to get us to where we are today we didnt have a oligarch put in billions of illegally obtained cash into the club.

Daniel Levy's net worth is an estimated $420 million and he pays tax on his salary in the UK. He owns a 29.4% share of ENIC and ENIC owns 86.58% (which means Levy owns roughly 25% of the club with Lewis owning substantially more).

Joe Lewis, is worth an estimated $5.1billion and keeps his money in tax havens abroad - probably storing huge chunks of it into one of his 3 super yachts (while he tells his team to take COVID paycuts). He is the real detestable sc*mbag who everyones hate, vitirol and glass bottles should be thrown at.
