Great attempt from Tielemans

We’ve created the chances, we just haven’t got anyone to stick them away but we should be 2-1 up

Sorry, I am not sure I buy that. He's a good man-manager, no doubt about that. But I have seen very little to suggest he's anything better than a mediocre coach. Yes, players improved when he first arrived, but they have regressed since 2021. He has a training ground that most managers would die for.

Compare that to Brighton, Brentford, Fulham, Palace. They have all had managers who have actively improved players who were there. Heck, Newcastle are in the top 4 with a squad that includes Joelinton, Almiron and Dan Burn!

Also look at how terrible Kolo Toure - a key cog in the Rodgers machine - has been since taking over at Wigan and how their form has tanked. Good coaches don't necessarily become good managers, but bad coaches will become bad managers.

Neither Brentford, Brighton or Palace or Newcastle have won a major trophy on a shoe string while challenging for top 4 twice. You can’t criticise Rodgers for the bad and simultaneously not credit him with the good. That’s True Blue logic

If you’re acknowledging that players improved when he arrived then you’re surely acknowledging he had something to do with that. I don’t think players have regressed that much in the last 18 months - I think team performances have. Maddison has improved immeasurably, as has KDH.

Looks like Lampard must go after tonight, shame Bodgers wouldn't be interested.

Well that’s an interesting sub

Sure, I can give Rodgers some credit for the Cup win and the first 2.5 years. Was that because of his coaching, his man-management skills, or because he wasn't Puel? Probably a mix of all three. Maybe he himself has regressed as a coach. He certainly has as a tactician.

I'm also not convinced you can use a cup win as proof that someone is an excellent coach. Roberto Martinez won the same cup but took his team down the same season. It's an admirable achievement and one that warrants praise and even admiration, but not a sign of greatness, otherwise Bobby Gould would have been Man Utd manager before Fergie.

Like it or not he delivered something no Leicester manager ever has, in we’ll over 100 years. Don’t think you can do that by being an ‘inept coach’ while simultaneously managing a top 4 charge for a club the size of Leicester FFS

Superb through ball from Tielemans messed up by Perez. He’s been dreadful

Tielemans is basically several levels above any other player we have on the pitch tonight. It’s embarrassing the difference in quality

He deserves so much better than us 😂

We haven't played too bad tonight especially 2nd half, we're just not good enough. We need some players back from injury, Rodgers out and some new recruits.

Pigs might fly.

Yeah we’re just not very good. I think Rodgers going is now crucial, would expect to get a bounce from that but eventually it would go the same way under a new manager unless the club changes direction. Hopefully Top gets bored and sells up soon

Perez 😂😂😂 £30m 😂😂😂😂
