Says West Ham have accepted yet. I imagine they are waiting until after we play them.
Don't get the Lemina signing really. Maybe fresh legs later in games to see them out?
We've been saying for a while we need someone to do the Box to Box stuff, Traore earmarked for it & got injured, Lemina has Prem experience which is a plus & he didn't break the bank, am more excited to see this kid Gomes tbh but lets leave it to J Lo
Yeah we have gone from Boubacar to now having three players for the job. Joao Gomes does sound interesting and Romano has confirmed him.

It's to cover for B. Traore in the squad. Athletic box to box midfielder to provide competition for places.
We can't spend years moaning about lack of cover, then complain we don't know why we are signing players who provide decent cover.

Julen Lopetegui believes Mario Lemina will provide depth the Wolverhampton Wanderers’ problematic midfield.
Lemina is joining Wolves from French club Nice for around £9million and could be named in the squad for tomorrow’s match against West Ham. The 29-year-old's arrival is timely boost for Lopetegui, who recently lost Boubacar Traore to a groin injury.
Having already played in the Premier League for Southampton and Fulham, Lemina brings some additional experience to Lopetegui's team. He will compete for a spot in midfield with Ruben Neves, Matheus Nunes, Joao Moutinho and Joe Hodge initially.
“Yes, we had big problems in this position," said Lopetegui, confirming the signing of Lemina. "We lost Bouba for a lot of time so we need players in this position. Mario is a good player. We know him and he wants to be here.
“He knows the league and has the profile to be a good player for us. I wish him the best. He is a complete player with and without the ball. Without the ball he is a strong player, he knows his job, and with the ball he has the technique to play and understand the play. We haven’t worked together but now I am going to know more about him.
"I think he is ready to be in the squad list. We will take a decision in two hours. He can help us improve our performance. We have a big, hard task in front of us. The transfer window is open and we have to take advantage."

Hope that bringing in two midfield players doesn’t mean that either Neves or Nunes will be leaving imminently. But if Sarabia does join then maybe we should be prepared to see Hwang and/or Guedes leave the building

Probably more likely to see Moutinho phased out and Hodge loaned out.
think a hodge loan is most likely
Sarabia evidently having a medical at the weekend. Bit worrying that he has had limited first team games this season. Has had difficulty displacing Messi, Mbappe and Neymar.
Gomes expected to fly in on Monday.
Just asked the woman in Waterstones if Prince Harry’s book is available to download.

Of the the three potential signings, no idea if Gomes is any good but seems to be the right age, Sarabia Im not very familiar with but know of his reputation and clearly JL knows him well, so excited about that one but Lemina doesnt particularly float my boat based on his time at Southampton, but could be a useful squad player I guess.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think Lemina is a good squad option. A box to box midfielder who gets about the pitch. I think it points towards us continuing with this pressing football and means that Lopegetui has options to make changes, meaning we can maintain a higher intensity throughout the game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, he's got experience, knows the league which is more than most of our midfield bench options have and suits the style Lopetegui is trying to bring to the team.
Whenever I've seen him on match of the day he's looked pretty lively

When Lemina joined Southampton he was their record signing and while there was linked with moves to Man Utd, Liverpool and Newcastle. An injury caused those moves to fall through but after loans to Galatasaray and Fulham he went to Nice and became their best player.
He had previously played at Marseille under Bielsa and at times played in the centre of a back 3
