It'd be absolutely fantastic if Weghorst could hit the ground running and make himself undroppable. It'd take the pressure off a bit in signing a forward over the Summer.

He’s only on loan until then though, we’d have to buy him. If he does well though no reason we couldn’t take him as well as a more long term target.

I really have no idea how he’ll do. Could be a shrewd bit of January business to help with something we’re missing, could bring his Burnley form and be an absolute laughing stock.

Yes he's on loan but wouldn't be too difficult to sign I'd say if we wanted him.

If we did want to strengthen somewhere else first it'd be a bonus though.

He used to swing in lots of crosses to the back post for Haller when he was at Ajax. Hopefully we’ll see more of that with Weggy in the team.
