Nah we have moved on since. Best to bookmark Poch and look forward.
We have the perfect project manager in place right now.
He has had two and half windows and still stuck with the core defenders like Don mentions in his article.
We need a new defence before a new manager. Facts.
As a neutral if I may I don’t think spurs should be looking backwards. More often it does not work out
If Conte does go you need to back whoever comes in but also give them time
Fair play for admitting it was wrong.
I've always been one of his biggest cheerleaders but I always said that if it did work out with Jose or Conte I'd be the first one here to apologise for doubting them so you've done the same.
Completely agree about the reasons for Poch's downfall. We did nosedive but the issues weren't his alone. No backing and pain after CL final defeat cracked him I think. Nothing to do with his abilities. Same for the players at the time. He'll turn up this time with renewed vigour and a chance to put the project back on track. He can learn from his mistakes as Levy can his own. With the stadium in place I've no doubt he'll be backed more heavily than he was.

A project manager that on average stays at clubs for no longer than 2 seasons
I get the thing about going back, but Poch only “failed” due to lack of ambition of the board. With that, he would succeed. Maybe it’s best not to subject him to ENIC anyway. What’s the point of any manager with them in charge ??
OP
I admire your optimism, but Poch would not do anything with this squad. It would be a complete non starter to bring him back.
Spurs need to get everyone connected with the Poch era out of the club now, and start afresh.
Poch is also a yes man, so what would actually change with Levy. Absolutely nothing.
Sandy, we have tried the antitheses of the yes man, in Jose and conte, and where has it got us??

Yes man or no yes man, it’s what the manager can do with the PLAYERS. Jose and conte haven’t really improved anyone, in fact more players have regressed. Poch could do more with this lot I’m convinced

At least we might play a back 4
Can we put to bed this ridiculous notion that looking back doesn't work out. It's completely absurd.
Jupp Heynckes had four spell at Bayern and his most successful was his third spell, not his first.
Jose went back to Chelsea and won the league.
Capello went back to Madrid in 2006-07 after 10 years away and ended the longest trophyless run they've ever had by winning La Liga.
Harry Redknapp went back to Portsmouth and saw them hit heights they'd never hit before, winning the FA Cup in 2008.
The only real examples of things that went wrong were ones like Keegan and Dalglish at Newcastle and Liverpool respectively where their time out of the game saw them go out of date on their return. The same can't be said for Pochettino, who has been in management for the last three years prior to his departure at PSG.
It's just moronic to say 'no' on those grounds alone. There's just no evidence to support the fact that it doesn't work. It could be amazing. It could be terrible. Exactly the same odds as any new manager coming.

Poch was absolutely the biggest of the yes men, he would do what Levy told him. I doubt Conte does, and he will just walk if he doesn`t get what he wants.
Going back to Poch would be the biggest mistake this club could ever do.

In fact, I think the fact that the owner is the same makes it a better fit as he KNOWS how the club operate. All of the frustrations of recent seasons stem from Jose and Conte underestimating Levy's process. There'll be no surprises for Poch. That puts him ahead of the pack and the fact that he's free means it's too good an opportunity to turn down. It's staggering to think there are loads of fans out there that wouldn't be on board with this. I think it's because they're attracted to the mystery of the 'new'. Every assumes because Poch hit a ceiling with his last squad, the same is going to happen this time. That's nonsense. He'll be given the chance to build again. It could take a while but I'm done with this quick fixing with trophy managers. IT JUST DOESN'T WORK.
