Ffs multi tasking.

What I meant to say was Conte has admitted this is a project and at the end of the season he will decide to continue or not. Funds will obviously play a part. Over to ENIC.

He will decide that at the end of the season. For someone who moaned about "The basic literacy and comprehension skills on this site is embarrassing." Are you ok mate?

I’d sell if I were you, a new contract while he’s ageing is not a good move, let United pay him to age.

I am starting to think we made this error with Salah.

It's getting to the point where I might lose respect for Kane if he stays, such is the foolishness of pursuing trying to win things at Spurs.

What makes you think he will decide? From what reputable journos have said this dissatisfaction is very much a two way street. Levy will pull the trigger earlier than that if this form keeps up. He's done nothing to be allowed to make that decision for himself. Personally I think Levy has already had enough.

I'm staggered that some of you believe he's somehow done enough to earn a new contract anyway.

I don't think you can really point to one improved player under Conte. Not one. Obviously Bentancur and Kulu were shrewd buys by the recruitment team but who, of those that were already at the club, have improved under his watch?

I love the way you think you know what Levy is feeling. So clever of you.

He hasn't really improved any player, your are right but what he did last season was good. You cannot deny that with the players at his disposal.

I can never really imagine him playing in another teams shirt.

Whether he wins anything with us or not he goes down in our top 5 greatest ever players, an absolute legend and probably the deadliest striker the Prem has ever seen.

All that said - Conte needs to go balls out for the FA cup - lol even I will turn against him if we lose to Preston. No faaaacking rested sides, we have to make the semis at least in my opinion

In a way this whole situation is good news for Spurs.

We will not want to sell.

We know to make him happy we have to look like we can challenge for something serious.

It's "put your money where you mouth is" time for the ownership.

Imagine, an unambitious window in Jan selling Kane in the summer and buying more "potential"....the revolt amongst fans would be very very damaging for the club and its image.

I would be amazed if someone as sharp as Levy doesnt understand this. I think the only reason we are not splashing the cash now is perhaps because there are doubts about whether Conte stays or not, and whether we want him to stay or not.

Spurs top five players are as it stands in my book, in no particular order

Jimmy Greaves
Dave Mackay
Glenn Hoddle
Danny Blanchflower
John White

I could add others, but those are just off the top of my head.

If he was a statute built and a legacy he has to stay, it’ll be tarnished if he leaves for another PL club

I don't think so. Even though there isn't one, fans have been up in arms about there being no plans for a Jimmy Greaves statue and he played for Chelsea and West Ham.

The only thing stopping a Kane statue is a lack of silverware and even then I'm not sure that should really stop it happening. He's going to break Shearer's record and he's got one at Newcastle without winning anything (for them).

Lane should get a stature simply cos he sacrificed success and medals to stay at Spurs. Should be worth something surely. Guy may lack ambition but loyalty he has in abundance.
