Itl happen again, and again amd eventually, others will question the managers reluctance to rotate/ rest players when the oppurtunity arises.
___________
He rested Shaw, Varane and Martinez
He hooked Rashford, Caseimiro when the game was secured and most likely Eriksen if he hadn't been broken up
Hardly evidence of reluctance to rotate/rest players
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Lets revisit this later in the season.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Because there's no evidence to back your claims so far this season
That's fair enough
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Picking Casemiro / failing to take him off against Palace, before he got a yellow for 1.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
That's it
That's your evidence that has you come to the conclusion that Ten Hag is reluctant to rotate/rest players

That's why it's called the balance. On balance, we'd have beaten Reading without Erisken, which is why I questioned why he started / featured.

If you were honest, on balance you'd have backed us to beat Reading before the match, even without Eriksen.
You also accept that,.despite not being privvy to his fitness / performance stats, he probably would have been taken off to rest once the game was 2-0.
So stop flirting, admit your wrong, and do one.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
1. You said you know we'd have beaten Reading. Nothing about probability. Which you have now brought in because you have been made to look stupid. As usual.
2. Seeing into the future again huh?
3. On balance, of course I would back us to beat Reading without Eriksen. That doesn't mean that we would have beaten them. Not does it mean that ETH was wrong to opt for getting the job done first, with an eye on resting players once we were over the line.
4. Taking your best players off once the job is done and common sense and common practice. You don't need to be privy to any fitness/performance stats. But making sure the job is done always comes first.

Brilliant squad management?
People have complained about Butland not getting a game.
About Shaw at CB
Bruno being picked, no matter what.
Garnacho and Pellestri not getting more games.
Failing to rest / sub Casemiro vs Palace before his yellow.
Subs being made too late.
I rate ETH, I really do, but let's not pretend its all been perfect.

Eriksen has averaged 60 minutes on the pitch in the 5 cup games he has played, excluding the Reading game. He has only completed 90 minutes in one of the those games and has only completed 90 minutes in 1 of his last 6 PL games.

ETHs reluctance to rotate has already cost us vs Arsenal, and could derail our season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Drama queen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You dont think losing a key midfielder for 3 months could have a big impact on our season?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don’t think it will derail our season.
Rashford, Casemiro or Varane could probably do that but I think we can handle losing Eriksen
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair point. He’s a loss but not I don’t think it’s a disaster. What we’ll lose in creativity we may gain in engine.
This is a blessing in disguise.
I know some love eriksen but the guys an absolute liability in a lot of fast paced games.
The signing of a younger, fitter midfielder is a great move. Hopefully when eriksen comes back, he will just be a bit part player against park the bus teams.

Lets revisit this later in the season.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Because there's no evidence to back your claims so far this season
That's fair enough
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Picking Casemiro / failing to take him off against Palace, before he got a yellow for 1.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
That's it
That's your evidence that has you come to the conclusion that Ten Hag is reluctant to rotate/rest players
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thats all I needed to disproves your ill informed claim that there is no evidence.
Thats how 5hite your argument was 😄
---------------------------------------------------------------------
You've 2 examples of his so called reluctance to rotate/rest players
Whereas there's a half of seasons evidence of brilliant squad management to dispute your childish rants
Bottom line is despite injurys, world cup breaks, want away prima donnas we have one foot in a Wembley final while still fighting on 4 fronts
Grow up ye clown
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Brilliant squad management?
People have complained about Butland not getting a game.
About Shaw at CB
Bruno being picked, no matter what.
Garnacho and Pellestri not getting more games.
Failing to rest / sub Casemiro vs Palace before his yellow.
Subs being made too late.
I rate ETH, I really do, but let's not pretend its all been perfect.

Itl happen again, and again amd eventually, others will question the managers reluctance to rotate/ rest players when the oppurtunity arises.
___________
He rested Shaw, Varane and Martinez
He hooked Rashford, Caseimiro when the game was secured and most likely Eriksen if he hadn't been broken up
Hardly evidence of reluctance to rotate/rest players
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Lets revisit this later in the season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Varane and Shaw were also rested against Forest. I'd expect quite a few will be rested tomorrow.
The problem with Eriksen is squad depth. We probably have better backup players in CB and LB than CM.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We do. Which is why Eriksen should be rested against the likes of Charlton, Reading, even Southampton.

And why people will say we should rest Casemiro in the less difficult games ahead.

He was rested against Charlton and would likely have been brought off against Reading, if he hadn't been injured when he was.
