For me the biggest issue is the apparent complete and utter contempt the SFA have for improving the game in almost every area, especially this. Always have.
Maxwell may be a nice guy - fook knows he is the invisible man except when caught with his entitled grin being wined and dined in the VIP tent at Darvel. This is the man tasked with leading, developing, improving the game in this country. £400k pa for WHAT? It is a complete and utter facking joke. Job for life, nobody to answer to. Grinning from ear to ear cos he can't believe it. Does he work hard? No doubt. Paper to be shuffled, look important. Phannying about at cup games.
Allan and Fleming before him with zero public persona in what is supposed to be an entertainment as well as sporting business.
There are probably some refs that are decent guys but they are hidden away behind several closed doors. Any relationship they may have with club officials around certain decision all secret society stuff.
And the nub is this - even with 4 officials at a match, even with VAR now, we still have red cards being overturned in 'the cold light of day'. Now we know that hand ball decisions cannot nor will not be overturned but some are so clearly wrong or debatable yet the best we can get is 'former grade one' blah de blah on Sky or whatever.
I get it that why should refs be answerable given the abuse they get on matchday and beyond but surely they should trial something to change that instead of just carrying on doing the same shutters down approach?
Rant over.
think its time the refs just came out and said that goldson is allowed to use his hands, it will stop the debate on it.
Well apparently there will be a VAR review at the end of the season, won't make one bit of difference mind you.
I will be more than happy to get the 10 wins we need and guarantee 6 magic CL group nights next season.
The cups would be nice we are 50/50 for one and well in with a shout in the other.

Totally agree with Silver about the whole secret society bit, does nothing but fuel fires
Even with VAR, mistakes will be made....if we knew how they were made, or given better reasoning as to how a certain decision came about, folk would be a bit more understanding...mibbe
Never been a fan of all the cloak and dagger stuff
Say again...give the ref the power to ask for VAR help if he feels he needs it, and allow VAR to speak with the ref as and when necessary, over absolutely anything.....also, make the audio conversations between the ref and VAR public so we can hear exactly how a decision is getting made, only then will folk know, or moreso, believe just how a decision has came about
Pretty simple stuff given the technology is pretty much all in place already

What was Morelos doing to the Hearts fans after he scored last night? Neil McCann wasn’t happy about it on the radio last night.
They were calling him a fat baster
He shooshed them, and rubbed his belly
Did the same against Killie.
Good on him, looking much sharper
And Lafferty being released from Kilmarnock-McInnes sounded surprised about it reading his comments.

The way McCann put it sounded like he ran practically the length of the pitch to wind them up-thought there’s no chance of that.
little point about last nights game
Matt ORiley is struggling in games now , His pass for Kyogos goal aside he was pretty brutal - Cant believe im saying this but Mooy looks a way better fit for that role
O’Riley seems to be having some problems with confidence just now-still think a goal would take a bit of weight off him and maybe see him back to how he was. He was alright last night-made space for passes a lot and kept things moving, but he’s not giving the same contribution as before.
What about the stewards at the end of the game last night?! They made a roaring ar5e of it.
What did the stewards do POV?
There was a gazillion of them appeared just before the final whistle and rather than start spacing them out from the start, they kept walking round from that bit between the main stand and the away fans all the way round the stadium, so all ended up in front of the north stand before realising that they would be about 3 rows deep and only covering a small section. Just daft.

Agree 100%. Strolling about the midfield like a poundshop Tom Rogic.
He's been dreadful for week. He'll get ragdolled by the Rangers midfield if he plays like that in the CF.
Thankfully Mooy is probably ahead of him atm. Hatate is different level to everyone else imo. Even mcgregor.
His skill level is incredible but his movement about the pitch is ridiculous. He won a tackle on the left wing last night and seconds later was taking a pass from Jota on the right. It was like he teleported over there.

Some of Hatates touches last night were unreal , his run into the box he couldnt get the shot away - would have been some goal
Im still not sure what he did at some point to flick it over the Livi players head asnd then collect the other side
i honestly dont think people appreciate what hes bringing to our game just now
