Because I can't imagine what they are spending is within the rules. If it is change the rules. Not retrospectively of course. If it is okay, good luck to them.

They are amending the rules I believe but after the last window. What city have done is added fictitious sponsors to their income.
Chelsea operate through sales as well as other revenue. Well Atleast until the yanks turned up.

Just read there could be as many as 100 separate breeches

It is easy to make enormous profits when you sponsor yourself from another company.

If the charges are proven and it is over a prolonged period, then the club should be stripped of its titles from the seasons the charges relate to. We have all suspected that is was happening. There has been numerous investigations over many years. If the charges are proven then there needs to be serious consequences, as they will have basically ruined those seasons through cheating.

If you cheat to get somewhere, it doesn't matter that you follow the rules for a bit when you get there.

I don't think i want to see their titles taken away. Its not the fault of the team or manager or fans. And they are the ones that will be hurt, not the accountants or owners.

Strip them of them all then for me.

If they are found guilty of a load of breaches, how are we the fans supposed to take those seasons and trophies seriously? It just makes a complete mockery of the whole league. The PL brand has been built over the last 3 decades into the most popular football league in the world. If these charges are proven then it seriously damages the image of the league. And that is before you even consider the money, time and effort that fans have put in travelling all over the country (and Europe) to watch their team compete against a financially doped opponent. There needs to be serious serious penalties for this.

Didn't pep claim he will.lesve if they chested?

The only club in PL to have revenue increase during covid while everyone else made significant revenue reduction.

Two of those titles are ours.

Over 100 breaches of financial irregulations.

They will probably be relegated too.

But what about the fans of the opposition teams? Those that have seen their team beaten/miss out on trophies/relegated as a result of these breaches? How many hundreds of millions have been spent during this period that were completely pointless due to the fact City were cheating?

They are looking at management and player payments as well. Could be more than just owners/directors/accountants complicit.
