The reality is, we should never have paid the ridiculous amount of money for Fabio in the first place and I doubt we'd even get 10m for him at this stage of his career, so there's absolutely no point in sending him out on loan next season. His contract is up in 2026, so let's keep him and let him gain more experience in this league. With Kalajdzic hopefully back for next season, we'd have 3 CF's to choose from.

3? Who is the other?
Be surprised if we don't have a CF as our main priority this summer. Can't see Fabio being sold personally and no way we would do so for 10 million and he is still worth more than that anyway.
Fabio, Kalajdzic and Cunha I'm guessing.
Doesn't take much to figure out the 3 really.
I’ve felt since November 2020 that our priority in the transfer market is to sign a goalscoring centre forward. Let’s see what Cunha does between now and May, but if he doesn’t start scoring regularly then that remains the priority to me

If you're classing Cunha in there then you're wrong, he's as much a CF as Sarabia - both of them operate WITH a CF not as one
We've been playing a 4-2-3-1 formation of late with Cunha as CF. He's also come on to replace Costa in the same position, so I don't quite get your point.
Sarabia is a winger and was so at PSG, albeit with very little game time there.

Yeah Cinci you re tard
Reading about Cunha’s career in Germany and Spain, I think there’s differing views as to what his best position is. He has at times played as a central striker, a number 10, and on the left and right of a front three. For the Brazil U21s he certainly played as a striker scoring 21 in 24 games, and was considered their star man in their 2020 Olympic success. Lopetegui has certainly been playing him mostly as our central striker. I’d like to see him more before deciding where he’s best but to me he’s the best we have to play as centre forward right now.
Certainly think he’s quite a different player to Sarabia who likes to pick the ball up wide and look for passes through the defence.
Whatever opinion you have of Cunha or Sarabia I think we’ve been doing pretty well with them doing what they’re doing up until the second half on Saturday. If we carry on as we’ve done so far in 2023 we’ll finish closer to halfway than to relegation
I just can’t seem to come up with anything stupid to contribute today. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll be back on form.
Fulham go into Friday’s game having only scored 3 in their last 5 games. But in those 5 games they’ve only conceded 2. Their 1-0 win at Brighton on Saturday took them up to 6th place.
If they finish in that position at the end of the season it would be their highest ever finishing position in the top flight
Wolves U21s play at Leicester tonight. We go into the game in 11th, just keeping our heads above the relegation positions. Leicester are 14th and bottom
Mendes has evidently been busy offering Neves to Barcelona recently.
To be honest, I'm getting to like Sarabia. He certainly gives us more options up front, albeit not a forward that scores many goals. Cunha is a loan player and depending on how he gets on for the rest of the season, determines whether we buy him, or not.

You are correct Chubster 👍
Just finished watching the U21's beat Leicester with a 78th minute penalty. Only saw the second half and Leicester much the better side. We could hardly put together two passes before the goal.
Stand out player for me was Hubner, our left sided CB.
You're right Wolfgang. Just looked it up. That loan included an absurd obligation that we pay that $40m after 3 appearances. Why on earth did the club allow that? Let's just hope it pays off.
Leicester had a lot of possession as Leicester teams do but didn’t have a shot on target all game.
Cunha had got in to the right positions in games, he's lacked a finishing touch but hopefully that'll come. Don't think he's far away from his first goal for us.
Been watching videos on social media of us battering Espanol in the Europa 3 years ago today, hard to believe all that happened, then covid came and we've not quite got back to the same level since.
The game on Saturday should have had a huge amount of added time due to Bournemouth players continually going down with feigned injuries. But only 5 minutes were added on despite that and the fact there were 10 substitutions.
At the World Cup a huge amount of time was added on which I thought was a good way of persuading teams that time wasting was not worthwhile. I was told today that the Premier League decided not to adopt that policy because the contracts with many overseas television companies requires all games to be completed within two hours of kick off time.
It was actually 6 added minutes Spangles, but your point is spot on. I have never witnessed so much time wasting in a match. There was one occasion when a Bournemouth player rolled around in agony for about 90 seconds but declined treatment from the trainers. He was about 2 feet from the touchline in front of the Billy Wright. Eventually, when the ref insisted he get up or get off, he did so and visibly laughed at the huge jeers that ensued. That incident alone was worth about 2 minutes added time, and there must have been at least 6 more similar incidents in the second half. I estimate that about 8 minutes should have been added just for "injuries", and then an additional five for the substitutions. 13 minutes though probably still wouldn't have been enough for us to score. Even Lineker made a point of mentioning it before showing the coverage on Match of the Day.
That's no goals in 26 games now for Chunha this season
Prolific he aint.
We saw the same when Brentford won here last season wulfrun. Not sure how the ref can stop it happening. If a player goes down claiming to be injured then he has to stop the game. To me the only solution is to make sure all the stoppage time is added on at the end of the game. But it still ruins the game as a spectacle when there are continual stoppages. Also maybe force a player to go off the field if he’s down for 30 seconds or more even if they don’t need treatment
Should just do what they do in rugby and unless it's a head injury, allow the physio to treat them on the pitch whilst the game continues.
If they want to roll around and feign injury, then their team plays with one less player.
