As if UEFA didn't know that. UEFA won't block anything until a formal bid has gone in. HR watch just needs the publicity.

How much do you think PSG pay for Rashford?

Why are human rights people upset at their potential ownership / part ownership of United, but not PSG or the Portuguese club they have a shame in?

At a guess it's more publicity for them when it's United.

How are both RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg allowed to compete in the same competitions? Surely the clue of their ownership is in their name?

posted on 16/2/23

Oh I see it's explained at the bottom of the article. Whether we want the Qatar ownership I'm sure their lawyers will make light work of getting round UEFA's rules.

Sorry but, why the feck do a human rights group care if they already own PSG?

Surely their argument would be related to human rights, not the fact they already own PSG?

well not exactly.

its red bull salzburg
but its Rassenball Leipzig (though the owners wanted red bull leipzig germna law doesnt permit it)

Although overall owned by red bull, there are no longer any affiliated staff between the two.

Any members of staff that had any ties or current links to the other club had to resign/made redundant.

I agree its not something that should be allowed.

Isn't that just a technicality to get over certain rules? Their crest is still the Red Bull logo.

So they share ownership, but not staff.

Wouldn't that be the same should QSI buy us?

These groups crack me up a lot. Suddenly we care about Human Rights. When we drop bombs in Iraq and Syria, do we not care about Human Rights?

Or when we arm The government in Yemen and train them. Or cause conflicts in the Congo to steal resources. Where are the Human Rights?

also i dont know who owns red bull now but at the time I dont think Masechitz had a great deal if any say of what is going on at Red bull.

Like most things they have this is all delegated for eg Maeschitz had very little say at red bull F1 team.

I think he is more than aware he is a brand guy and held zero expertise in the areas were talking about. maybe that had something to do with it.

I agree however I cant see how there can be zero conflict of interest.
