Well we've been dreadful since SAF retired, but still won 4 trophies since then, Spurs on the other hand have gone through one of their best periods in their history during that time and what have they got to show for it? A DVD

Good to see where Levy's priorities lie, it certainly isn't on the pitch that's for sure.

As a massive fan of F1... I think this is pretty cool. FI has exploded in popularity in the US in the past couple of years !!! I can only see this as a major commercial win ! I'm going to the 1st ever race in Vegas in Nov.... Gonna be insane !!!!
Really hope Steve Carr is at the opening ceremony.

We’ve won feck all so not one of our best periods in our history.
I’ve been lucky enough to see us win European trophies F A Cups and league cups
I was quite happy to see you lot win on Sunday as I think your away support is superb and loyal even when you’ve had a bleak period.
What makes me laugh is people mocking Spurs for expanding revenue streams.
It will bring more revenue into the club and that money will go into the transfer kitty.
I’m lucky enough to have a season ticket and be able to watch my team in an amazing stadium.
You never know the Glazers might improve Old Trafford and even if they don’t you could always get your Norwich scarfs out again

I think both sports will be fine.. NACAR is massive and you're right about the demographics... NASCAR is very much for the "Old Southern Boys" but its defo a fun experience (the crowds for the big races are nuts)..... They have a huge contract with FOX and F1 is an ESPN contract with "Drive to survive" on Netflix. The big fight will be for advertising dollars and that's why this is a smart move for Spurs.... will only help raise the profile. I would expect more and races to be held in the US and middle east going forward.... Its a sport that follows the money !!!

Fair points, the advertising revenue could be the only major head butting point, didn't know the tv tights were entirely separate and I honestly think more ad more football clubs over here will look to utilise income such as Spurs are doing here, unless there was a direct impact on the football part of the "thing" being promoted then its win. win as far as I can see?
