We have a good squad, anyone with half a brain sees that, its the coaching that has had us struggling
This is a mid table squad right now, proper coaching and a few more additions and we will be more than good enough to compete

You are telling me you think this squad https://www.worldfootball.net/teams/leeds-united/2020/2/
is stronger than this one,
https://www.worldfootball.net/teams/leeds-united/2023/2/
You are deluded Jonty.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So simple question for you:
2019 team
Meslier
Ayling White Cooper Alioski
Philips
Hernandez Klich Harrison Dallas
Bamford (promotion year)
Current team
Meslier
Kristinsen Ayling Koch Firpo
Adams Mckennie
Summerville Roca Gnonto
Bamford (today)
Which team wins?
We have a team that are playing as good as most in this league, its just putting the ball away that's the problem!..
Bielsa's game was it didn't matter what as long as you score 1 more then the opposition, fantastic football that saw great football with a lot of risks!..
Marsch, about same as but with less clue!..
Its now up to the new coach, his staff and the players to get it together and show how good this squad can be, because it definitely is good enough to pull its weight against most in this league!..
"We have a team that are playing as good as most in this league"
Sorry, which club are you talking about?
That's not the squad, nor the team we would play Jonty, you just cherry picked.
I don't get why, for example, you have Ayling at right back in the 19/20 squad and centre back this season with RK at right back.
The centre back pairing of Wober and Koch is, without a doubt stronger than Cooper and White and less fragile.
And why do you have Meslier in your starting 11 when he played less than a quarter of the games.
The squad is without a doubt stronger, we have more options in all positions.
Like always you see things as you see them, others see them as they see them, people here say we're playing good football just not scoring, pundits/professionals around the game saying the same!..
Sorry, some see things differently to others, so you see it your way, I'll see it mine!..
This squad are good enough to come good, and hopefully like I've already said, the coach and his staff can get the players to show they're good enough!..
When we started to lose players to injury the squad was very thin in 19/20, hence we played Douglas at left back Berardi at LCB, Alioski at left wing and Gotts and Klich in central midfield for the free hit against Arsenal.

Not sure I've ever said that this season.
Of course we're going to play well here and there, every team does, but its incredible that were in and around relegation spots just like last season and people seem to think we're playing well.
I've hated supporting Leeds United many many times since 1974/75 and often question myself... why did I choose this effing club, it's just endless disappointment, I'm fed up with it..... and then we get those joyous euphoric and often unexpected days when the team give you that huge high that I don't think any other club supporter in the 2 top leagues will ever get to experience in the same way Leeds fans do....We are all therefore addicted to our misery that we know will also give us eventually that greatest "fix".
Too right, Macca. I remember my Dad consoling me after the Chelsea replay in 1970, ‘don’t worry, son, it’s just a game.
I didn’t speak to him for three months.
I thinks this club gets into our bloodstream like no other club does. Look at our following on this site, for example. We have single-handedly kept it alive because, well, because we are Leeds fans. And today, the new fans are just as obsessed with Leeds as we were back in the seventies, and tomorrow, we will all join in with ‘When I was just a little boy…’ it’s the circle of life. With the exception of Newcastle and Liverpool, I don’t think there are any fans to match us.
Being a Leeds fan is an emotional rollercoaster x10.
Love it.
Absolutely - being a Leeds fan must be a penance for some horrific crime committed in a previous life! Losing games kills me, every time.

I think we stay up comfortably when we do give the manager a decent contract and if we have to sell a player sell the keeper as clubs are sniffing round him and we will get decent money, but if the takeover goes through we wont need to sell anyone.
Good Centre forward and goalscoring midfielder with what we have and we are good to go.
Agree 100% Don.
Still wish we’d seen that run off between you and Alioski.
