Win,lose or draw, tbh as a Spurs fan I'm completely numb,is it too much to hope for an entertaining game these days?

Hey Gem, hope the recovery is progressing ok. Someone at work yesterday whilst asking me how my break in Palma went last week mentioned they'd had snow over there this week. Find that hard to believe but could be up in the mountains I guess.

We're in another sticky patch right now and need a result or we're going to get dragged back in to those relegation places. A feature of our season seems to be that we play really well in patches but rarely do enough to kill off the game, but also struggle to get back in to games when the opposition get on top.

Spurs have a knack of getting scoring goals when they need them and have dangerous players aplenty. Dont fancy us to get anything out of it to be honest, think we need to get this and Newcastle out of the way and hope for a point or two then go looking for wins against Leeds and Forest.

I'll watch it, doubt it will be a good game but having watched us sacrifice an FA Cup run, to try and grind our way to a revenue focused 4th place finish.... I can't say I'm particularly bothered.

Only reason to watch Spurs right now is to enjoy the last few games Kane plays in Spurs shirt. TBH, I wouldn't blame him if he started dialing back the effort and protecting himself.

The "Harry Kane Team" is gonna look like a Championship team next season. At least Richie will feel back at home near the foot of the table

Hard to have confidence that Spurs will beat Wolves considering how they did against Sheff Utd

Come on Wolves fans. Some of the "not hopeful" comments on here are way off the mark.
Trust me ( as a Spurs fan ) my team are garbage, with more than a sprinkling of Championship players, particularly at the back.
Seriously, you only need to muster a little bit of energy, be able to produce average pressing skills, and the 3 points are yours.

Not sure what that says for the Premier League when the supporters of a team currently sitting in 4th place think their team is garbage.

Top 2 and bottom 4 apart I do think the League is a much of muchness where all teams are capable of wins. Wolves blow hot and cold, more often than not luke warm, but I'm going for a draw and would take that point now to be honest.

We can't score. You could play your u10s side at the back and we'd struggle.

Very definition of a proper six pointer this one.

1-1 draw. Three points each.

We will be playing Dier and Davies

I’d rather our under 10’s girls team defenders

If you don’t score I’d be shocked

The prem is massively overhyped, make no mistake about that. Spurs sum up the sad state of football these days as well. No interest in winning anything, just wanting top four so as to get paid well for CL football. We saw the same this season, throwing a very winable QF so as to focus on not getting relegated due to the financial impacts. The sad thing is that fans are now on board with that philosophy. Football in the 21st century.

I`ve given up trying to predict what will happen in Spurs games, we could just as easily smash them as limp to a weak defeat.

If I had to predict I would go 1-1

Spurs are 4th, yes fourth in the league, ok goals conceded are the same but goals scored, you're +28 over us.

There's a massive difference between these two sides as was demonstrated in the reverse fixture back in August, Spurs take their chances, we don't. That's why they're going to qualify for Europe and why we're in a fight to avoid relegation. To suggest we're going to thrash Spurs is nonsense.

It would be madness though to prioritise domestic cups over the league, you know that, and it's been the case for over 20 years now.

There was a debate on the radio this evening about Spurs and their lack of trophies, Darren Fletcher was arguing that Spurs squad has no winners in it bar Lloris and Perisic. Brad Friedal argued that their just not in the position to compete with the top teams in Europe and they have successfully developed a squad to just hang on to champions league to bolster revenue. Bear in mind the infrastructure that they have invested in over the last few years. They're in a position where they need CL football but cups, schmups.

I dunno goldi, I think i may take a trophy over prem status to be honest. Is the championship all that bad? We would be strong and likely win promotion again. Having a club winning games, regardless of division, shouldn't be dismissed as not being enjoyable, and that is what we support a team for.

Seriously now, what would be the difference in facing Bournemouth in the prem or Burnley in the championship this weekend? The Burnley game would get far more excitement from the fans.

In the pre Fosun era I would have maybe agreed with you, but I still think we have a chance to build something stronger and make us a regular top 8 finisher under Lopetegui. And when you're in that position you can genuinely compete for cups as well. Unfortunately as we well know the squad has been neglected over the last few 3 seasons and we're struggling but relegation would set the ultimate goal back several years. So for this season as much as I'd love to see us go to Wembley again for me the priority has to be the league.

Similar situation for Spurs except avoiding relegation isn't the issue, avoiding Europa league is their goal.

Let’s be honest, unless we have a team capable of finishing in the top eight, we ain’t winning a cup anyway.

just seen our line up?!?!

Bit concerning really!

Anyway, gotta get up early here and explore some more. Good luck to the boys, hopefully we can surprise but with that line up it seems unlikely.

Good to see Neto back though.

Really concerned with that forward line up. Can’t see us troubling the scorers.
