Man U thrashed, Spurs well beaten, Nelson gets his big chance and keeps The Arsenal 5 pts clear at the top and the Red Bull Honda's take first and second in the opening GP. Happy days!

He probably does. He’s been saying this isn’t reflective of how good they are. Funny when arsenal get beaten by a good team it shows we aren’t ready, when we had a run beating lower teams (like United have) it doesn’t mean anything because we haven’t played anyone good. But Man U are title challengers and back to their best because they’re beating lower sides and losing to anyone good. Arsenal are too emotional and lack leaders apparently, yet haven’t śhát themselves and completely capitulated once going a goal down

A big reality check for them. Sometimes defeats like that can happen everything just goes wrong but in reality if Rashford doesn't turn up they've got nothing going forward. That weak mentality they had under Solskjaer is still very much there.

A humbling for man utd was long overdue, fans predicting they would smash Liverpool easily at Anfield. They convinced themselves that Fergie's utd were back after the league cup win and their Fergie era superiority complex took over. 7-0 drubbing to Liverpool who've been poor and who aren't even challenging this season proves utd are not quite there yet. Losing at Anfield isn't shameful, it's a fortress. Losing 7-0 with 6 conceded in the second half if shocking. They crumbled after going a goal down.

We are well ahead of where you were in year 1 under Arteta. That's some comfort for us.

Glazers could be about to leave too.

Not all doom and gloom.

What genuine united fan thought we would smash Liverpool at anfield ?
Any united fan with any common sense would write this fixture off before it's even begun.
We are always crap there, have been for a very long time.

Even SAF's teams had a tough time there when Liverpool were an average side.
Yes 7-0 is the worst one yet and it hurts but we'll get over it, we're still in a good position in the league, won a cup,and still in two other competitions.

You can't compare both situations, Arteta didn't get 200 million to spend in his first transfer window. Also its Arteta's first job where as you got someone who had a significant amount of experience. Completely different situations.
